Where else can you get ravioli with, attention, truffles for six euros above average in Italy,
below average in the world? And you can have vegetarian options here. Very, very high quality
house wine. Hey guys, welcome back to Dramatically Exotic and welcome back to Florence, one of my
ever favorite places in Italy. And if you've been here for a while, you'd know that we've pretty
much covered everything that there is to cover in Florence. But today, I have a very special video
for you. If you remember, a couple of years ago, I think about two years ago, I made a budget video
about Florence, how to spend a day here on a budget. In that video, I've showed you everything
that you could see here for free. And you know, there are free places here, there are awesome
free places here, and you can visit the museums and beautiful churches for free. But I remember
that some of you have asked me and have been asking me for all this time to make a video about
places where you can eat here in Florence on a budget without spending too much. And today, guys,
I'm delivering you this kind of video. Today, we're gonna try some really, really good places,
good food without spending too much. And I'm gonna show you these places. So, if you haven't seen my
other video, make sure to watch it after this one so you know what to see in Florence. And then,
after watching this video, you'll know where to eat in Florence on a budget. Without further ado,
guys, don't forget to subscribe right now, hit the bell button, and we can begin.
To find the best pasta in Florence, I got all the way to the Mercato Centrale, which is the
central food market. And it is actually very common to eat at the food markets in Italy. And today,
I want to try the local pasta. Honestly, guys, you can find pasta in other places as well. But here,
you will pay less and you will get the freshest pasta possible. Because in some restaurants,
they may actually serve you frozen pasta. I'm not trying to throw shade at restaurants. Well,
maybe I am. But here, you will find the freshest pasta ever. It's made right in front of you. You
can choose among many types and shapes. And of course, you can find many other places where you
can eat here if you prefer something else. I got ravioli with truffles. And guys, where else can
you get ravioli with, attention, truffles for six euros? Everything, every type of pasta here costs
only six euros. So you can choose whatever you want. You can choose whatever sauce you want on
top. I just got it with olive oil and some parmigiano. And honestly, I've never seen
prices like this in Florence. I think this is perfect, a perfect place for a budget traveler,
even though you cannot sit here, here, but still you can eat here. Look at this beauty though.
Let's try it. These ravioli are incredibly, incredibly good. Definitely worth the wait.
It's 11.30 and there's already a queue here. So I highly recommend you to come here early. They
start serving you pasta like this at 11 a.m. So be here early because the queue is quite big.
There are lots of people, a lot of foreigners, foreign tourists here. There are so many people.
So yeah, come here early. Also consider that this place is super central. It's the central market.
It's right in the city center. You can easily get here and you can easily get this goodness.
This is so good. You have no idea.
Even though prices at the market are usually quite low, here, for example, you can get a
schiacciata for six euros, guys. But if you remember my older video from budget Florence,
there I found a place where I ate wonderful schiacciata right in the city center and it
cost me less. So make sure to watch it. Don't forget the link in the description.
I've literally turned around the corner from the market and although I love this street,
it gives us such an Italian vibe. The prices here are already much higher.
Here, guys, taglioline al tartu for 18 euros. That's what I told you.
If you want to have coffee in Florence with a view, you're going to pay a lot. You should be
prepared for that. If you want to just have affordable coffee in Florence, you can have it
in plenty of places around the city, in smaller, narrower streets. I actually have a couple of
places like this mentioned in my other video, but today I wanted to take you here where you can have
coffee with the best view, in my opinion, because I think that the cathedral's dome is the most
incredible thing about Florence. I'm a huge fan of Filippo Brunelleschi. I think he's the ultimate
genius of the Renaissance era. I love this place so much. As I said, you're going to pay a lot in
general. Here, the cup of coffee costs three euros, which is above average in Italy, below average in
the world. I would say a medium and average price for Florence, but you also get the view. I think
it's a perfect place. It's a win-win anyway. You're not going to overpay for it too much,
but you also get the view and you get a beautiful rooftop
bar. I will leave you the link in the description box. Check it out.
Guys, firstly, how crazy is this weather? It's sunny and then gloomy and then sunny again,
and now it's gloomy again. I hope it doesn't rain today. Secondly, we are going to the other side
of the Arno river. We are going to the San Frediano district, which is my favorite district in
Florence. Whenever I'm in Florence, I spend a lot of time on that other side of the river.
I love it. I love Florence. I spend here maybe almost half the time I spend in Bologna.
Yes, I love that district. I want to show you my absolutely favorite place in that district.
It's my secret place and it's my secret tip. I'm going to share it with you today, guys.
That's really big for me to be sharing that place. Let's go. I'll show you where you can have coffee,
where you can have lunch, where you can have aperitivo. It's just a perfect place for any
time of the day. Let's go. Guys, I love this place for so many reasons. First of all,
you can work here and there are a lot of people who study here inside. The atmosphere is really,
really cool. Also, the whole place is so artsy and bohemian. I just really, really love it.
Also, they have really good food. Now, the food here costs more than the one we had in the market,
but consider that we are seated. We are basically in a restaurant. It's not like a restaurant. It's
more like a bistro, but still you can sit here. We have a glass of wine and lasagna.
You pay for this as well, but this actually cost me 12 euros. There is no service fee.
You pay 8 euros for the main dish and then, well, it's not like the main dish, it's first course,
but anyway, you pay 8 euros for this and you can choose among many other dishes and 4 euros for
very, very high quality house wine. I mean house wine in Italy, Tuscan house wine, guys. Guys,
I got this lasagna, which is not a typical lasagna, not a regular one. It's made with
asparagus and provola, which is a very tasty, very flavoury Italian cheese. Look at this goodness.
You have no idea how good it smells. I love it so much. Let's try it. Guys, it's so good. It's
very tender. They always have really, really good cuisine. Everything they made is so good
and you can have vegetarian options here. This one is a vegetarian option or if you don't like
regular lasagna, you can try this alternative. It's really, really good and tasty. I highly
recommend you this place, even though, I don't know if I will regret it later when it gets flooded
with people. Maybe I will, but at least I shared it with you. First consideration, guys, it's never
too late for ice cream. It's always time for gelato, especially if it's Italian gelato, and I found
this place today. It's my first time here. I've never been here, but can you imagine this place?
You can probably see it here. This place has been a gelateria for the past 104 years. It's been here
since 1920. This is absolutely crazy. I think I will never get over the fact that so many
businesses in Italy are so ancient and many of them, if not most of them, have been in the same
family for ages. I think this is absolutely spectacular. Also, this is the first time I'm
getting my gelato here and it's so good. I've already tried it. I think I cheated a little bit.
Oh, I tried it off camera. It's so good. I got pistachio and the taste of the month, which is
peanuts and caramel and I think chocolate biscuits. It's very good. I love it. It's also in the San
Frediano district on the other side of the river. Maybe it's not San Frediano anymore, but it's on
the other side of the river anyway. And regarding the price, this gelato, the two tastes, the two
scoops cost me $3.30, which is, I would say, a little bit above average in Italy, but it's
definitely cheaper than most places in Florence. If you want to have even cheaper gelato in the
city center, make sure to watch my other video. I said that a million times today, but once again,
guys, check the link in the description box because in that other video, I have another
gelato place where I paid a little bit less and I've been to that place in September 2023. Now,
they still have the same prices, around $2.70 for two scoops, so here it costs $3.30, but
there is one very important but. You get your gelato, two scoops, and then
you scan the QR code, you leave the review for this place, and after showing your review to the
staff, you get a free coffee. So, for $3.30, you get gelato and a coffee, which I think is a perfect
bargain. I did not get a coffee today because, honestly, I've had so much coffee already, both
on camera and off camera, that I think I will probably... I've had enough. I'm not gonna get
my free coffee, although I could, but my review is 100% positive. I love this place. I highly
recommend it to you, so check the link in the description to find this place on Google Maps.
Another good thing about this place is that you can sit indoors. There is this
quite big area with tables, and it actually is quite cute and lovely. They even have free Wi-Fi,
so, you know, it's such a rare thing in Italy, but here you can. So, if it's raining like today,
because, after all, it rained, it's a perfect option. And that's it, guys. I hope that you
enjoyed this food tour of Florence, budget food tour of Florence, and that now you know
where to eat in Florence on a budget, affordably, so you don't have to spend a lot on food while
exploring this beautiful city. Also, guys, for even more places, make sure to watch my other video.

places, extra food places that I haven't mentioned today. Don't forget to subscribe, so you don't
