Alright! We are gonna make gingerbread dog cookies.
What you think?
OK!
One cup of molasses.
We need four tablespoons of honey.
One cup of water.
Do you want to lick the water?
Half a cup of vegetable oil.
Mix the dry ingredients.
We need six cups of flour.
Two teaspoons of baking soda.
One teaspoon of cinnamon.
One clove.
Then, you can use two tablespoons of chopped fresh ginger or one teaspoon of powdered ginger.
We're gonna use powdered ginger.
Now, we have to slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
If you can't tell, I use it on bowls.
There's our dough balls.
Now, we have to wrap them and let them chill for three to five hours.
So, we'll make that go by like that.
OK! Now, we're preheating our oven to 350F.
We took out our chilled dough balls.
I'm gonna make Jamie do all the hard work.
You roll these out to about a quarter of an inch.
Then, you get to use all these fun shapes.
We got all kinds of fun shapes.
Real cookie!
He's baking in the oven.
Some of the finished cookies.
Now, we tripled the batch.
So, we ended up with a lot of cookies.
These ones, we put carob chips on.
They kind of look like aliens.
Kind of do.
What you think?
Feel like a gingerbread man?
Feel like an angel?
The dogs think they're awesome!
Now, what we're gonna do is, we're gonna make some frosting.
So, we can frost all the cookies.
We're gonna use these white discs.
These are not chocolate.
There's no cocoa in them.
They're made with sugar and dry milk and a couple of other things.
There's no chocolate in them.
They are safe for dogs.
They do have sugar.
You don't want to use a ton of frosting.
We're gonna mix one pound of these discs to a quarter cup of these paramount crystals.
The paramount crystals are going to help keep the frosting smooth and spreadable.
So, we're gonna mix this together and we're gonna frost some cookies.
Alright, we put some of our white chips in here.
Now, we're gonna draw on some cookies.
Get it out of your nose!
Clean up time!
We should have named them soap and water.
Hey!
Can you give them eyeballs?
What?
They look like a bottle.
That's gross!
Barely any came out though.
See when you hold them upside down.
Oh yeah, you have to squeeze them.
Is that good stuff?
Bottle feeding icing.
That's horrible.
I guess she is a lightweight.
It does.
It looks like she's...
What's a bottle?
Awww.
I'm not squeezing.
It's stuck to her chin too.
I'm not even squeezing.
I'm not giving her any.
I wonder if she'll buck it.
You're like a baby cow.
They're like, just give me it.
Just give me some.
Give me some.
They are pretty cookies though.
Yay!
Cookies!
For dogs!
More icing.
And actually...
Somebody just ate a cookie and it wasn't you guys.
Tastes like gingerbread.
We hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
Go make some cookies for your dogs.
They'll enjoy it.
I think ours are going to get fatty cookies.
Merry Christmas you guys!
