Shiloh, what day is it? Shelby, what day is it? Is it Fan Friday? Is it Fan Friday? Say, it's Fan Friday!
Get it!
First question for today. Andrea from Facebook wants to know, if Shiloh and Shelby like cats?
Shelby has met one cat up close, real close and she
She was interested more in eating it than anything else.
So, I don't know if we'll ever let her meet another cat.
She didn't hurt the cat, but I think if I would have let it go, she probably would have tried.
Shiloh, on the other hand... Shiloh is actually pretty good with cats. When my sister Kasey used to live here,
Shiloh got to go stay with her one night and Kasey had cats and Shiloh was really good with them.
She just wanted to cuddle with them. As usual, you're just a cuddly puppy.
Get that bunny!
Luke from Facebook wants to know, if we had Huskies before Shiloh and Shelby?
Actually, as adults
Shiloh was our first Husky. She was also really our first dog.
Jamie had a Husky when he was really little, like five years old. He doesn't really remember it all that much.
I grew up with St. Bernard's and I know Jamie also had a Cocker Spaniel, but pretty much Shiloh
was our first Husky and Shelby gets to be Husky number two. Are you Husky number two? Yes, you are Husky number two.
Kristen wants to know, if Shiloh and Shelby have nicknames?
For Shelby, a lot of times I call her Pumpkin.
I kind of wanted to name her Pumpkin because we got her just before Halloween and you guys know I love Halloween.
We thought about naming her Cinnamon too. I actually have a friend of mine who still calls her Cinnamon.
I say Shelbers a lot. I do call her Shelbers and Shelby girl. I guess those would be her only nicknames.
Shiloh, we tend to call her Shy or
Shy Lily. My mom calls her Shy Lily all the time, doesn't she? She calls you Shy Lily and she sings the Shy Lily song.
And Shy Girl. We call her Shy Girl a lot too. I guess that would pretty much be their only nicknames.
Shelby's other nickname, I guess could be Bad Dog. Bad Dog and No, Don't Do That.
Sometimes when you're a puppy, I think that's what you thought your name was. Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't eat that.
Don't do that.
Molly from Facebook wants to know, she says people say Huskies are a difficult breed. Do you agree?
If you want my honest-to-god personal opinion, there's no such thing as an easy dog. I don't care what breed it is.
I don't care what if it's a male or a female.
There is no such thing as easy dog. All dogs take time,
responsibility. They need care. They need food. They need everything. They need love.
Mainly your time. They always need your time and your attention, don't they?
As for Huskies being difficult, are you difficult? Do you think you're difficult?
Huskies can be very high energy in comparison to some breeds which can make them difficult for people
that aren't used to that crazy high energy. Of course, then you get a Husky like Shiloh who has never really been high energy.
So, you know, it's really hard to say.
Personally, I wouldn't
tell somebody that had never had a dog before and that has no idea to just go out and get a Husky puppy.
I mean, you'd probably be better off going to a rescue and getting an adult dog.
I think the hardest part of Huskies is their puppy stage, which lasts till they're like seven years old.
You're still in puppy stage, aren't you? You are still, cause you're only four. You're only four.
You're still very much a puppy, huh? Are you a puppy? Shelby, are you a good puppy?
Are you a good puppy? You're upside down in the camera.
You're upside down in the camera, Shelby. What are we gonna do? Huh? You're upside down in the camera.
Like I said, all dogs are difficult. There's no such thing as an easy dog. Are Huskies more difficult than other dogs?
Honestly, it just depends on their personality more than their breed, if you ask me.
Are you showing the bunny?
Eat the bunny.
See, I'd have to say that I agree and disagree with the statement that they're difficult.
Cause Shiloh, for example, was a very easy Husky. She's not high energy.
I mean, she's had health issues, but as for training and all that, she was very easy.
Shelby is...
Still, I mean, she's four years old. She's very needy. She's very loud. She's very high energy.
She constantly makes noise when we're trying to work. She's constantly in your face.
Like right now. Oh, and there's the wine. You know, I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to...
Aww, you wanna hug the fans?
Aww, hug the... You wanna bite them? No, don't bite them. You wanna hug them?
Aww, hug a Shelby. Aww, hug a Shelby.
Silly girl.
Alright, I got some pictures and some Christmas cards to show you guys. So, let's go to that.
I forgot to show this to you guys last week,
but this is a drawing that my youngest sister Rebecca did and gave to us for Christmas.
Thank you, Rebecca. We really love it. Now, I have to get a frame for it.
I also found the Christmas cards that I thought I had lost and I'm gonna show those to you guys right now also.
This was one of the cards we got. When we opened it up,
there's a magnet inside with Shiloh and Shelby on it and it says it's from Shane the Husky.
Thank you very much. We are totally gonna put that on our refrigerator.
Here are some of the other cards that we got in the mail over the holidays.
This one is from Kevin, Pam, Paige and Elliot.
This is... This one here is from, and I know I'm gonna mess that last name up, the Essminger family.
I love that card. It's so cute. And this one is from our friend Cheryl.
She sent us a Christmas card also for us and the girls. Thanks for the cards, you guys.
We also got a letter and a really cool drawing of Shiloh and Shelby from Kayla.
Kayla says she's a huge fan of Huskies and she had looked up Huskies and found our song and she subscribed to our video.
She wants to know what Shiloh and Shelby are trained to do.
Well, Kayla, they're trained to do a lot of different things like pulling sleds and doing agility and just being silly dogs.
You'll have to watch through some of our other videos to see all the different things they can do.
We do have over 250 of them now, believe it or not.
Once again, thanks for sending us all the cool stuff, you guys.
We love checking our P.O. Box and finding all these cool things in it.
This is really neat. I can't wait to put that on the fridge.
If you ever want to send us anything, it's Gone to the Snow Dogs P.O. Box 12, Alpena, Michigan 49707.
We put it at the end of every one of our videos and it's always in the video description.
Thanks a lot, you guys!
Don't forget, if you guys would like to send us anything in the mail, our P.O. Box address is Gone to the Snow Dogs P.O. Box 12, Alpena, Michigan 49707.
If you have questions for Fan Friday, you can leave them on our Facebook page or on our Twitter page, which are listed on the screen.
