It's time for Super Windy Fan Friday! How come, every time we try to do Fan Friday, is windy? Huh? Where's your tail blowing in the wind? Woohoo! We should brush Oakley. That's what we should do. Yeah! Alright! First thing is first for Fan Friday! Our camping videos have started going up on our vlog channel, which is... YouTube.com slash Snow Dogs Vlogs There's also a list of everybody on that video, that also went camping with us. So, you can kind of see the behind the scenes of all of us camping with the girls. Husky Lover 3 says, Where are you going camping next? We are actually going camping at Hepp State Park for Memorial Day weekend. Look at you! Shelby's under there digging. That hole is gigantic Shelby! I'm Laura M says, What do you do with all the treats from well-meaning fans, when the treats slash food brand has been in the media as not good for pets? Well first off, if we ever get any types of treats that are open, like those of you that think it's okay to put like a dog treat or dog food just inside an envelope, we never give those to the dogs. Anything that's open, we don't give to them. As for foods and stuff like you said, that are in the media for being bad, we don't give them to them. I really do check everything before we give them to the dogs. That's why sometimes you see us open treats and not give them to them. And sometimes we do. Sometimes it's just because they've already eaten too many treats, but sometimes it's because it's something they probably shouldn't be eating. But I try to be nice about it all the time anyway. What are you going to do to celebrate? Well, hopefully we'll have internet so we'll be able to do something. If not, it'll have to wait till next week because we're going to be going camping this weekend and I think we're actually going to hit it while we're camping. So maybe I'll try to at least record our reaction if possible. I can't believe we're so close. You guys are awesome. So multiple people asked this week about what we do with the dogs when we go to work. What's our routine? What do you do? Where do they go? How do they go outside? Our dogs know our routine very, very well. Here they come! Here comes the wind! There they go! They're just home while we're gone. Are they going to make the loop around? We let them out before we leave for work. They get breakfast before we leave for work. Then when we come home from work, they get their lunch and they get to go back outside and play. They're very routine and because our lives are so routine right now, they do really, really good at it. Sometimes during the day, if we're slower, we run home and let them out so they don't have to wait so long. But really, now that Memphis is over two years old, she can make it the few hours we're at work too. That's pretty much our routine. I think I've said it before, but I don't think I've answered that in a long time. I figured I better answer it again. We got some mail! We got some mail! Thanks for the kisses! We got another happy birthday from Bree, Matthew, Chris, Koda and Bones. Looks like there is a bag and a happy mother's day card. How cool is that? And a couple of letters. They had a really important question in their letter from Bree, Chris, Matthew and their fur babies. Their question was, what are some good ways to find a pet friendly place? Like a place to live. Sometimes it can be hard to do. Sometimes you can contact real estate companies in your area and they might be able to help you find a rental. The really good question that they had was, what happens if you can't find a pet friendly place and you have to get rid of your pet? Well, if you're in a bind and you absolutely have to, you can try seeing if somebody would foster your pet for short term while you keep looking. Or, if you absolutely have to get rid of your pet, which you know, sadly sometimes does happen. Just make sure that if it's a pure breed, you can try to work with a breed specific rescue. Or, even if it's a pure breed or a mixed breed, try working with your local shelter and you keep the pet while they help you find a new owner. That way they can go through the application process and hopefully you can find somebody to give your pet a new home. As sad as that would be, those are a couple of options for you. You definitely don't want to ever just give a pet away for free. As sad as it is, sometimes people take free pets and use them as bait dogs for fighting. You don't ever want to give a pet away for free. You definitely want to do a re-homing fee or something. Those are some options for you. You know, I see if maybe you have a family member that would be willing to take your pet in. I know sometimes that can be really hard too. Hopefully, you'll get lucky and you'll find a place that allows pets. We got a happy birthday to Oakley letter from Katie. Along with this! What's this? Look Oakley! Want that? We'll hide it in your kennel. Memphis is going to try to take it. We'll hide that in your kennel for you. We got a letter and a drawing for Oakley for her birthday from Hannah. With some dog treats. We got a birthday card and a package from Siberian Husky Koda on Instagram. If you aren't following Koda on Instagram, you really should. Koda sent some birthday gifts for Oakley. Here's a Shelby head. Here's some treats and some more treats. Check this out Oakley! Look at that! Look at the giant bunny! What you think of that? It's nice and soft, just like you like. We'll put that one in your kennel too. Your kennel is going to be full of toys. We got a happy birthday card from V.C. in Singapore. With some awesome treats. Over here, it tells what each kind of treats it is. We got a happy birthday to Oakley from Danny McElroy with a PetSmart gift card. We're going to have to make a trip to PetSmart you guys. It's going to have to happen. We got an awesome poem card from VixenTheMangle1987 from Instagram. Also a poem for Oakley's birthday. Another happy birthday Oakley from IceTheHusky and Kayla. We got a letter from Haley. Haley wants to know, what are some activities we do outside with our dogs? Well, hiking is definitely one of the big activities. Hiking, biking, walking, agility... Pretty much anything you can think of outside. We like playing outside with our dogs. We got a couple of cards from Sophia. One for Oakley and one for Memphis. Memphis got a letter. Oakley fluffy butt drawing, Shelby drawing and Memphis drawing. They had a couple of questions. How old is Shelby? Shelby will be eight years old in August. How old was Shiloh when she passed away? She was eleven years old. When is your birthday? I'm assuming you mean my birthday. My birthday is December 27th. Will you ever do a meet and greet in Kansas? I don't know! Maybe we can go camping somewhere in Kansas. That would be fun! We got a bunch of cute drawings from Rebecca. Rebecca wants to know, where are the Shelby socks coming out? I'm not sure when. Hopefully soon. I have to submit a new picture for them, so they can get the design done on them. Hopefully soon. I'm assuming they will be the same price that the Oakley socks were. I think they were twelve dollars. Shelby's charity is going to be... I know I'm going to get it wrong. We're donating to epilepsy research in dogs. That's what Shelby's charity is going to be.
