It's time for Fan Friday!
Look at all the snow compared to last Fan Friday.
Or should I say, look at the absence of snow compared to last Fan Friday.

It's Fan Friday!
Look at you, lazy girls!
Ok guys! Before we get started for Fan Friday, we just wanted to let you know...
If you are in Michigan this weekend, meaning like tomorrow, the day you see this video.
Tomorrow, March 12th.
We will be at the Specialty Show and Sweepstakes for the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit
in Dexter, Michigan at the Animal R&R Canine Sports and Recreation Center.
I'll actually put a link to this down in the video description below.
We are going to be there with a booth.
If you live in Michigan and you guys want to come and see a lot of really cool Huskies.
There's a dog show, there's an AKC Agility Trial.
It's really fun and open to the public.
If you guys want to come, we will be there.
On Sunday, we are going to be walking in the Detroit St. Patrick's Day Parade
with Harry Houdini Husky Rescue.
Our dogs will be there and there's probably going to be about 50 other Huskies walking in the parade.
If you want to see us walking in the parade or if you want to see us at the show in Dexter,
that's where we'll be this weekend.
Stop by and say hi if you are close by!
First question asked by quite a few of you this week.
Memphis'es birthday! Memphis'es birthday is April the 4th.
She will be turning three years old and yes, we will be doing a birthday video for her.
If you guys want to send her a card or something to be in the birthday video.
She will be getting her own birthday video just like we do every year for each of the dogs.
The Paw Gang from Instagram says,
What are the signs and symptoms of bloat in a dog? Are there different stages? Is there an age reaction?
Does not having your dog play after they eat, reduce the risks?
We actually did an entire video on this which I will link in the card section above and down in the video description below.
Shortly after Oakley bloated, we actually did a whole video on this explaining a lot of different things.
I will link that so you can go learn all about it.
The Diamond Wolf 31 says,
Are you going to VidCon?
Yes! Jamie and I will be at VidCon this year.
Sadly, the dogs will not be.
We tried to make it so they could come, but it looks like at least for this year the dogs will not be at VidCon.
But, Jamie and I will probably be doing some meet and greets with some other YouTubers.
If you see us, don't be afraid to say hi to us. We will be at VidCon.
Rachel06 from Instagram says,
Why do you guys only drive Jeeps?
Two reasons. One, they're really good for putting the dogs in.
They're kind of a more rugged vehicle and the dogs fit really well in them.
Two, they can pretty much take us anywhere we want to go.
Be it a main road, a dirt road, off road, through the snow.
We live in Northern Michigan, so a vehicle like that is kind of needed.
Plus, they're fun!
Life's too short to drive a boring vehicle.
Rassalovich from Instagram wants to know,
Do your girls pull?
My Jake pulls like crazy.
Um, yeah. They do.
They really do.
It's part of their breed.
It's part of their nature.
There's a lot of different ways you can stop a dog from pulling.
There's different things you can use.
Some people like to use those halty collars.
Some people use a gentle leader harness and things like that.
I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I just use a skijoring belt,
put on their harness and let them pull.
I like them to pull for other things, such as biking and sledding.
I don't want them to be fearful of pulling.
I don't necessarily want to train them against it.
I don't know if that makes sense.
I know it doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but it makes sense to me.
I don't mind that they pull.
When I'm walking and we're out hiking, they help pull me up hills.
They help pull me down the trail.
It's all good.
But like I said, it's a lot easier when you use a belt
over just having them yank your arm off on a leash.
Rachel Summer03 says,
My puppy, a 13 week old Siberian Husky has dry skin.
The vet says that we should bathe her in oatmeal shampoo,
but I know I shouldn't bathe her any more than once a month.
Do you know of anything I can do to help get her skin to feel better?
I'm afraid she's going to start scratching herself raw.
You should probably have your vet do a check if they can
to see if there's any type of allergies that could also be causing it.
You also want to make sure that you're feeding a very high quality dog food
which should help with some of those skin issues.
Make sure your dog is getting enough fish oil.
I would definitely talk with your vet a little bit more about it
and maybe try to determine what exactly is causing those issues.
Like you said, you really don't want to bathe them too often
because that's also going to damage the oils in their skin
and that's going to lead to dry skin.
So, hopefully your vet can help you figure that out.
Madison Stroniger, I'm sure I said that wrong from Instagram,
wants to know, how do you train your dogs not to eat so fast?
I don't technically train them not to eat so fast.
I use the slow feed bowls as you will see in the video we did on Monday.
That helps slow them down and stop them from eating so fast.
Pan Pancake from Twitter wants to know,
my dog keeps licking his front paws.
Should I be concerned? He doesn't do it to any of his other paws.
You might want to check them and just make sure there's nothing caught
in between the fur and the pads of his feet.
You can also check to see how rough they are.
If they are really, really rough, you can buy like Musher's Secret
or there's other different paw balms that you can buy
and actually put on the pads of their feet.
Sometimes they get dry, kind of like you get dry and cracked skin.
Dogs can kind of get the same thing and that could be why he's licking his feet so much.
Tiptoe Whale says, why can't Huskies be trusted off leash ever?
I heard it's because of their wildness and they haven't been bred down
and they love to explore.
It has nothing to do with their wildness.
Huskies are domesticated dogs just like every other domesticated dog.
They're actually no closer related to a wolf than any other domesticated dog.
It's because of their personality. Huskies were bred to run.
They're a very free spirited dog and they really like running.
So when they're off leash and it gets triggered that they're free,
they go, hey look, I can run forever.
We got some mail. We got some mail.
Go wake up Oakley so she can come enjoy the mail with us.
First we got a box from Ian and Ian sent some treats for the dogs
and some maple bacon cookies for Jamie and I.
Thanks Ian. Hold on, I'll get you one.
One for you, one for you, and one for you.
There you go. Thanks Ian.
Ian also sent Memphis' favorite thing.
Look Memphis. She's like, don't do it mom. Don't do it.
Is it your favorite thing?
I don't know. I think the other one popped.
Nope, we got one more. Woo!
One more. Ready? Ready? Ready? Here goes.
We got a beautiful letter from Claire and this awesome drawing.
That's pretty cool. I like how Shiloh even has a halo.
And we got a letter and a drawing from, I believe it says Leah.
We got a letter from Connor with some Valentines for all of us
and some drawings and Connor wants to know, what is Oakley's favorite toy?
Her raccoon toy. It's over there in her kennel. Oakley loves her raccoon toy.
Here's some drawings Connor sent as well.
What is Shelby's favorite treat?
Shelby likes chicken and she likes salmon treats.
And then, are the snow dogs friendly with cats?
I think this one might be.
I don't think Shelby would be and I'm not really sure about Oakley.
Here's the other part of the letter. It says, I love you.
Are snow dogs scared of cats? I don't think they are scared of cats.
Have they ever been to Kentucky? Not yet.
Maybe sometime this year, we'll travel to Kentucky.
We got a letter and a drawing from Holland.
Holland wants to know, at what age did you start sledding with your dogs?
I don't know how old Shelby was. She was probably two or three.
Memphis was only like nine months old.
Oakley would have been, what? Around eight years old.
So, at all different ages actually.
This drawing is from Poppy.
We also got a letter from Felicity. Felicity wants to know, what made us start doing YouTube?
Well, partially we just wanted to have fun sharing videos.
Partially, we were sharing videos with our family and friends.
We wanted to make other people smile.
That's the short version of a very long story.
We got a letter and a little drawing from Funny Cat from YouTube.
Check that out! Somebody knows me pretty well.
Probably, I'll end up putting these on my computer.
Thanks for sending that!
We got a letter and some artwork from Carly.
We got a card from McKenna. McKenna wants to know, how old are all the dogs?
Shelby is eight. Memphis is almost three.
She'll be three on April fourth.
Oakley is somewhere between ten and twelve. We're not really sure.
We got an awesome drawing of Shelby from Emily.
A letter from Natalia with some drawings of the dogs down at the bottom.

If you didn't do so yet, you can go check out Monday's video.
Which was a review video on a new slow feed bowl.
That one right there, called the Guzzle Muzzle.
Which actually slows the dogs down more than the other one did.
So, I'm pretty excited about it.
Then, Wednesday we did a Paw Pack unboxing video.
Of course, Shelby stole all the soft toys.
Including that cow right there!
Also, for those of you that don't know yet, we do now have a Snapchat.
I'll put the Snapcode right on the screen here.
Make sure you're following us on there.
