It's time for Inside Fan Friday! ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ Do the Snow Dogs ♪♪♪ Once again, for those of you that are new, Fan Friday is a day where we answer questions submitted by you guys! So, let's get to the questions! Alright! First question is about Oakley's birthday! Oakley's birthday is May 8th and she will be getting a birthday video, just like Memphis did. Just like Shelby will be! So, if you guys want to send something for Oakley's birthday, a birthday card or something to go in her birthday video, you still have time to do so! The next thing you guys were asking about, is Shelby okay? For those of you that are subscribed to our vlog channel at YouTube.com slash SnowDogsVlogs, you probably already saw the update on Shelby, but for the rest of you that saw Monday's video here on Gone To The Snow Dogs, Shelby is doing fine! I'll actually show you guys, since she's laying in the right position. If you don't like yucky spots, look away for a second. But, this is what Shelby found on her. This is a little spot right here. It actually doesn't look bad. But, that's where her spot is. Okay, you can look back now, if you didn't look. Anyway, yeah! She's doing good. She's on antibiotics and we have an antibacterial wipe that we have to put on twice a day. But, she's doing good. She goes back to the vet on Monday, just for a recheck, just to be safe. Miley's Adventures on Facebook wants to know, is there a fan event where we can actually come and meet your dogs? From time to time, we do go to different events. The only one so far this year, that I know we have planned, is the Pet Expo in Novi, Michigan. We will be there with all the dogs this year. But, if anything else comes up, we will post it either here in a video or on our social media sites. You never know, we might have to go to some more Pet Expos this year. Iceberrieslove92 says, what are some senior dog hacks that you can give us? I have a fifteen year old female myself. I don't know that I have that many yet. I do have tips. Make sure that you are patient with your senior dogs. Make sure that you have good lighting for when they're walking around. Cause sometimes as they get older, it's harder for them to see. Like when they're going up and down steps, you want to make sure that you have the lights on for them. You can even get them a night light, like a motion light. Which I've actually been considering doing for Oakley. A small, I guess it would be a hack slash tip that I learned about the other day. We just installed our new floors and I wanted something to stop Oakley's kennel from scratching the floor. So I actually bought a fatigue mat and put it underneath her kennel. So what it actually does is, since Oakley likes those really flat beds, it kind of just gives it a little extra cushion. So if you have an older dog that only likes flat beds and not big puffy beds, which Oakley does not like, it just kind of gives them a little bit of extra cushion and they don't even realize it's there. MunaCaterina says, are there ticks in your area or when you go camping? If so, how do you deal with them? Currently all of our dogs are on Vectra 3D. But, we're also beginning to use this product. Which I will have an affiliate link down in the video description below. Let me get this clear. There we go. This is called Wonderside and it's actually an all natural insect repellent. It's really, really cool. I learned about it on TV and then I did a bunch of research on it. But it's all natural, so instead of using all those chemicals, you can try these. Like I said, right now our dogs are on the Vectra 3D as well. But eventually, maybe we can switch them off of it. We'll see. Billy9902 says, since you have three dogs, how do you manage to keep the house so clean? And how do you work on the floor with all three dogs? Don't they get in the way? Well, of course they get in the way. We try to keep them out of the room and like baby gate them if we have to. Out of whatever room we're working in. But of course they get in the way. And how do we keep the house so clean? People tend to ask us this all the time and I never know how to answer this in any other way, except for we clean the house. It's kind of what you have to do when you have three dogs. I know it's raining outside, so we have to play inside. JessMV had a question that related to Wednesday's video where we talked about cleaning the dogs toys and things like that. If we have toys that are still good and are just dirty, the best way to clean them that I have found... Oh my goodness! We're having a wrestle party! Are you done now? We're having feisty Friday! Anyway, the best way to clean them that I have found is actually put them in a pillow case and put them in your washing machine and use cold, cold water and very little detergent. Literally very, very little detergent. Wash them on cold, cold and then don't put them in the dryer. You guys! This is what happens when you have Huskies and it's raining and they can't play outside. For anybody wondering. You guys are nuts! This is how Fan Friday is going to be today. Crazy Huskies! They're like, it's raining! Let's wrestle! You girls are nuts! Gracky Girl says, how come the dogs don't wear their collars anymore? They don't really wear their collars inside and the reason being is what you just saw. Them wrestling and being crazy. We actually had an incident where one of the dogs grabbed a hold of the other dog's collar and got their tooth stuck. Because they do tend to wrestle inside, we don't put their collars on them when they're inside. When we leave the house, we have them all hanging by the door. We put them on when they leave and all the dogs are microchipped as well. When we let them out in the backyard, we're pretty much right there watching them. I'm not too worried about them getting out of the backyard without their collars on. Like I said, they are microchipped. We got some mail! Look! Another Memphis birthday present! That's why I've been trying to tell you guys about Oakley's birthday early enough. May the 8th is Oakley's birthday! This is from Tiara and she sent... A squeaky newspaper! Like that Memphis? Memphis is so funny with squeaky toys! A ball with a bell in it and some treats! And a happy birthday card! There's the inside of it! We got an awesome letter from Julie. Julie, I just want to say... Never stop dreaming those dreams! Never stop! Never ever! Right? Tell her! Stay positive and dream big! As long as you never give up... Everything you wrote could definitely happen! We got a drawing from Elise. We got a thank you card from... Tayracia and Sonia, I think it says. And all these dogs. It was just a really cool thank you card.
