HUSKY SHELBY GOES TO THE VET | Minor Surgery

Alright Shelby, we're gonna go get your eye fixed. So guys, I'm kind of ready. It's been bugging me and I've been rubbing it. It's time to go get it fixed. All right, let's go to the vet. ♪ We're Gone To The Snow Dogs ♪ All right you guys, today we're at the vet's office. Shelby's having a little minor surgery done to her eye and getting her teeth cleaned. Shelby! They're just taking your blood. It's all right. She's like, I don't know guys, this sucks. That's the don't put the Halloween costume on me look. What's the Halloween costume gonna be this year? We don't know. She dressed up as a crocodile the other day. I think I'm gonna get her... Sneak peek, huh? A little dress too. Take your one hand and hold the tourniquet back. You're being so good Shelby. Shelby, you were supposed to pee on the plate. You absolutely refused. So you guys can see right there on her eye. If she holds still, there it is. That's what she's getting removed. Yeah, she's had it removed a few times by just freezing it off, but it keeps coming back. So this time they're just gonna do a little minor surgery and take it off. What do you think? Sound like fun Shelby? She's like, no, I want to go home. Are you looking out the window? Is there fun stuff out there? Are you figuring out how to get out there? You gotta wait. You gotta wait, sorry. Shelby, what's going on, huh? Good job. She's like, I'll be good. I swear, I'll be good. Is there a dog coming in? Shelby's getting x-rays. Alright, so Shelby's in there now. They're gonna remove the thing from her eye. Alright, there fits in her. Shelby, we're going home. Wanna go for a ride? You look very sleepy and drugged up. I know, we're going. But we gotta pay the bill first, honey. And then we'll go. Alright, we're in the car. We're going back home. Look, she's back! Did you check her out? Did you make sure she's still Shelby? She's still Shelby, I swear. She really is. It's okay, Shelby. They won't make fun of you for wearing the cone. How you feeling, sweetheart? Shelby ate lunch. She's been out a few times. We switched her to the inflatable cone for now. Cause she seemed to like it a little bit better. Still gotta wear it though. Cause we don't want you to scratch her eye. She's still definitely on a lot of drugs. Do you want me to let you go back to sleep? I got up cause I thought you were gonna get up. But I think you're gonna go back to sleep. Okay, you go back to sleep. These dogs have been being real good. Kind of staying close by her. Not picking on her or anything. Which has been really nice. No, no. You're fine. I'm just talking to the other dogs. It's okay. Go back to sleep. Alright! Today is the day after Shelby had her surgery. As you can tell, she's already looking a lot better. I think the major drugs have wore off. Yeah! We took the cone off her cause we're keeping a close eye on her. She has to have it on whenever we can't really keep a close eye on her. But when she's out here and when she's eating, she doesn't have to wear it. She has very, very, very fine stitches in that eye. We gotta make sure she doesn't bump them or anything like that. Her stitches will come out eight days from today. But she's doing pretty good. So we want to say thank you for all the love you guys have been sending.
