This House Is All Glass… But No One Can See Inside
#architecture #architecturedesign #modernarchitecture
At first glance, it doesn’t make sense. A house made almost entirely of glass… that is still completely private.
The Luaa House, designed by Ana Smud in Buenos Aires, solves this in a simple but clever way.
Instead of opening to the street, the house turns inward.
Walls and a surrounding garden create a protected environment where glass becomes possible.
On the ground floor, everything opens to the greenery. On the upper levels, wood filters light and controls visibility. And at the top, the house opens again — this time to the sky. Each level changes how the house relates to the outside.
Open.
Filtered.
Open again.
A simple idea, but very well executed.
A glass house that no one can see inside.
