A pinch of nutmeg
1 tbsp olive oil
For the top potato layer:
500 g waxy potatoes (1.1 lb)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme or Oregano
a few chili flakes, if desired
