Venezuela Opposition Leader Machado Praises US Freedom in Speech in DC

Venezuelans will soon be free—that's the message of opposition leader María Corina Machado, speaking at the Heritage Foundation in DC on Jan. 16. Machado said she's grateful to speak in front of an American audience, after she had to escape her home country last year and the regime of socialist leader Nicolás Maduro.
