5 Festive Ancestral Christmas Treats (Real Food, Naturally Sweetened & Blood-Sugar Friendly) 🎄✨

1. LEBKUCHEN (German Gingerbread) 🇩🇪
Servings: 10–12
Prep: 15 min | Bake: 12–15 min
Ingredients
• 1½ cups blanched almond flour
• ½ cup ground hazelnuts
• ¼ cup raw honey or date syrup
• 2 eggs
• 2 tbsp coconut oil or grass-fed butter, melted
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp ginger powder
• ¼ tsp clove
• ¼ tsp nutmeg
• Pinch sea salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Zest of ½ orange
• ¼ tsp baking soda
Optional topping: melted 85% dark chocolate + chopped nuts
Instructions
Mix wet ingredients + zest. Add dry ingredients → form sticky dough.
Shape small rounds and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 12–15 minutes.
Cool + drizzle with chocolate.

2. GINGERBREAD COOKIES (Almond Flour & Dates) ⭐
Servings: 10–12
Prep: 20 min | Bake: 10–12 min | Chill: 1 hr
Ingredients
• 1½ cups almond flour
• 4–5 soft dates
• 2 tbsp molasses or honey
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 tbsp ghee/butter
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp ginger
• ¼ tsp cloves
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• Pinch sea salt
Instructions
Blend dates, molasses, ghee, egg yolk.
Mix dry ingredients separately.
Combine → chill → roll out → cut shapes → bake at 175°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes.

3. CHOCOLATE CRANBERRY TRUFFLES 🍫
Servings: 10–12
Prep: 15 min | Chill: 30–40 min
Ingredients
• 1 cup almond flour
• 2 tbsp raw cacao
• 3 tbsp coconut oil or ghee, melted
• 2 tbsp raw honey or maple
• ¼ cup chopped dried cranberries
• 1 tbsp collagen (optional)
• Pinch sea salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Mix everything into a thick dough.
Roll into balls + coat with cacao/coconut/berries.
Chill 30–40 min.

4. NATURALLY SWEETENED BANANA BREAD (Festive Twist) 🎁
Servings: 4
Prep: 10 min | Bake: 50–60 min
Ingredients
• 3 ripe bananas, mashed
• 3 eggs
• ¼ cup honey/maple
• ½ cup melted butter or coconut oil
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1½ cups sprouted einkorn/spelt flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp nutmeg
• Pinch sea salt
• Optional: nuts, cranberries, or dates
Instructions
Combine wet + dry separately, then fold together.
Pour into lined loaf tin.
Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 50–60 minutes.

• 1½ cups raw or grass-fed whole milk
