Reading Your Arrow - Important Advice For BOWHUNTERS

LISTEN UP! & Read the Sign! Here's an important message for BOWHUNTERS. You need to be smart and patient in recoveries when you haven't confirmed expiration with your own eyes. During the rut animals are super charged with adrenaline and don't always know the difference of being horned in a fight or by a fight or an arrow. Giving adequate time is critical and having the will power to do this is what allows you to notch a tag. The alternative would a you deal with a gut ache all year long thinking about whether you rushed in too fast or were smart about your recovery attempt if not successful .
When I look at this arrow hole in footage I wanted to think I could trail right in on my bull. Once I got to the arrow I saw a critical color that let experience tell me to just BE PATIENT! The discipline of being patient is almost tougher mentally than the discipline of practicing all year long. This little decision in this video could have been the deciding factor of me recovering an amazing bull or not. It sucks I can't show you a perfectly placed arrow but this is the reality of bowhunting in the chaos. Luckily for me I had the right Broadhead for an arrow that was a little lower and back than I would have wanted. Seriously the @g5outdoors T2 saved the season. Most of my content is showing you what TO do based off me doing something the WRONG WAY and learning from it. I hope this helps someone out there this season.
