Hi, I'm Chris with Afflictor Broadheads and in today's episode of In the Shop with Afflictor,
we're back at Thin Feather Fur with Jon who is helping us out. And if you are a Matthews guy,
you're really going to be excited about this where we're going to be dropping in the Low Pro Quiver
and the Switch Weight Mods, so stay tuned. All right guys, this is Jon with Thin Feather Fur
Outfitters. We're going to take a quick look here at installing the new Low Pro Quiver from
Matthews. This is a two-piece. What's awesome about this is if you've got any type of inline
sight in their new bridge lock system like this guy here from Accel, your Low Pro Quiver sits
right up against the side of the bow. So it's going to make this very, very low profile. There's
nothing to bump and hit because you've got no sight overhanging the outside of your bow.
This is super, super simple. It is going to just be one bolt. It's going to come right in the
package with a little washer and your quiver. That's going to slide right in there. There's
a nice little cutout for it. Let's see if that'll hold on its own. We'll grab our screw and then
you're just going to go right through the riser on the back side of that is threaded,
and that's going to run that screw in. So it all lines up, itself lines up.
There's a cutout here that it sits right inside of, and then now that's locked and you can see
there's less than an inch of space here between the main part of the riser and that quiver.
We'll jump right down here to the bottom. Same deal. This bracket only goes in one way. You
can't screw it up. It's going to lock right in there to the side of the riser.
I'm going to go ahead and take our T-handle and our bolt on this back side again,
and that's going to thread right in and lock. So you'll see again, we're super, super close.
So if I go ahead and take a long arrow here, so this is going to run up in here,
and this is going to sit less than an inch off of the bottom of that limb, but not hit. So you're
going to have a six arrow quiver, super, super tight up against the body of your bow. So you'll
have less drift left and right, less opportunity to torque because your weight's going to be way
more centered, which is just one of the huge advantages of these new inline sight systems.
Awesome deal with these bows is you can change your poundage and your draw length just by swapping
the mod. You don't need a press. This is something you can do at home. We'd be more than happy to
swap mods for you, but if you want to have multiple sets where you can change your poundage,
you're just looking at 50 bucks for a set of mods and you can absolutely swap these at home.
Super simple. You just need a two millimeter hex head. There's going to be two silver screws in the
mod. Those come right out. Be careful not to strip them. They are a little bit soft.
So we'll go ahead, one screw there, one right under that limb. Go ahead and pop those guys out.
And then that mod's free. Just pay attention to which way it went in. Then you would go ahead,
grab your new mod, different poundage. So this is, let's say a 28 inch mod. You can grab a 28 inch
mod, five pounds heavier, five pounds lighter. And then you would go ahead and do this on the top
and bottom cam. You'll throw that guy in, grab your screws back. And then again, these screws,
the heads are a little bit soft. So just make sure you don't get in there too hard and strip them.
And then you're just going to run those screws right back in with your new mod. Make sure to
swap both top and bottom. You don't want mixed matched mods, or you're going to have some crazy
timing issues or run the risk of derailing your cables. So make sure that your mods match letter
and poundage on both sides. And then you can go ahead and just pop those in and out. Super
simple and change your draw length and draw weight just that easy.
