DIY Basement Home Gym Transformation | From Den to Dream Gym

I've always wanted a home gym and we finally built one! We transformed our basement den into our Budget Friendly Dream Home Gym!
I didn't want a super expensive and/or elaborate home gym. I wanted a home gym that was functional with minimal amounts of equipment/machines/weights. We didn't have a massive space to work with nor did we want to spend tons of money. We wanted quality and the best bang for our buck. Everything we did was very budget friendly. We could have done the floors cheaper by doing something like horse stall mats (which is a popular home gym option). But since this was our basement den and the 1st thing you see when you do downstairs, we wanted nicer flooring that look good, worked good, and would last. So we spend a little more money and did 8mm Premium Rubber Gym Floor Rolls. But me and the boys did the tear out, prep, and install which saved a good bit of money. And we are Very happy with our choice!
