Building My Body, Mind & Spirit for the Death Race | Death Race Part 6

2 weeks till Death Race! Training continues and this week's focus was on the Spiritual! As a Christian, I believe strengthening my relationship with Jesus and preparing myself spiritually is even more important than preparing physically or mentally...especially before entering something as difficult as the Death Race.
With just two weeks remaining until the Spartan Death Race, I spent a week chaperoning my sons at FUGE Camp at North Greenville University. It was an active week filled with plenty of steps, miles and time on my legs, but I still made sure to continue my physical training.
Without weights or special equipment, I created a bodyweight workout that I could do right inside my dorm room. You don’t need a gym or perfect conditions to keep moving toward your goals. Afterward, I loaded up my pack and completed a 4.5-mile ruck around campus.
