Recipe:
2 eggs.
100 g sugar (100 g).
45 g cornstarch (45 g).
2 tsp vanilla extract.
500 ml milk (480 ml).
Cook, stirring constantly, until the pudding thickens.
Important: Stir constantly so that the pudding does not stick to the bottom of the pot and burn.
Cover with cling film.
300 g flour (280 g).
100 g sugar (100 g).
1/2 tsp salt.
5 g baking powder (5 g), about 1 tsp.
140 g very cold butter (140 g).
Tip: Freeze the butter for about 5 minutes before use.
1 egg.
Knead for a few minutes until the pudding is smooth. Store 1/3 of the dough in the freezer.
Approx. 20 cm baking dish, lined with baking paper.
2 apples.
Set aside some pudding to decorate the cake.
Bake at 180°C for 45–50 minutes.
1 teaspoon powdered sugar for decoration.
