The Tree That Drew the Blueprint | Tamarindo House
#housedesign #housetour #homeandgarden #courtyard #architecture
Tamarindo House, designed by Taller Estilo Arquitectura in Mérida, Mexico, is a single-story residence that exemplifies harmony between architecture and nature. Centered around a pre-existing tamarind tree, the house is organized to preserve and celebrate the natural landscape, with all spaces oriented to connect with the outdoors. The design features a guiding wall that directs movement through the site while framing views of the surroundings. Built for a plastic artist and a writer, the home uses natural, timeless materials like polished cement to create a warm, organic atmosphere. The result is a contemporary hacienda that integrates art, light, and vegetation into a cohesive living experience.
