SpaceX officially announced Starship Flight 10 Launch Date after...No More This Month!
Momentum continues to build at Starbase as SpaceX reveals its first estimated launch date for Flight 10. In preparation, work intensifies at Pad A with the installation of a new Ship Quick Disconnect system—an essential step in refining ground support for future missions. Meanwhile, all engines for Ship 37 have been fully assembled, bringing it to the threshold of testing and eventual launch.
On NASA’s side, the next chapter of the Commercial Crew Program has been unveiled. Crew-11 now has its flight schedule and crew officially confirmed, reaffirming the reliability of the Dragon capsule and SpaceX’s continued role in ferrying astronauts to the International Space Station.
In contrast, Boeing’s Starliner program encounters turbulence. The spacecraft’s upcoming mission has been delayed, signaling yet another challenge in its long-delayed journey toward operational readiness. With every delay, questions grow louder about its role in the future of NASA’s crewed missions.
In this dynamic moment, progress and setbacks unfold side by side—a vivid reminder of the complexity and drive behind today’s space exploration efforts. Let’s take a closer look at each of them on today’s episode of Great SpaceX!
SpaceX officially announced Starship Flight 10 Launch Date after...No More This Month!
Preparations to bring Starship operations back online are still progressing steadily.
Every effort is being directed toward resuming tests and preparing for the next launch as soon as possible.
In that process, some promising news has just arrived for SpaceX. A recently leaked FCC notice has revealed a new estimated timeline for the upcoming Starship Test Flight 10 mission. The document clearly states the purpose of the operation, and the most important detail within it is the Operation Start Date, which is currently listed as August 4, 2025.
Compared to the FAA, FCC updates often receive less attention. However, in the most recent Starship flights, the FCC’s projected start dates have typically aligned quite closely with the actual launch dates. This trend gives us reason to take the August 4 date seriously.

While some may be disappointed that this indicates the flight will not take place in July, the news is not entirely discouraging. A launch in early August, especially as soon as the fourth, would still represent a quick and effective recovery following the issues caused by the Ship 36 incident.
Given the scale of the repairs and the critical upgrades required after that failure, achieving a liftoff in early August would highlight the remarkable effort and adaptability of the SpaceX team. It also means that the remainder of July can be used wisely. During this time, SpaceX can complete all necessary preparations and conduct detailed inspections to ensure that all previous problems have been identified and resolved.
