Camping ALONE in the PHILIPPINES - is this SAFE? SOLO TRAVEL El Nido

i've just checked in and i am glamping today i want to show you something very very special so queer here told me that there's turtle hatching right in front so this is my tenth for tonight i'm so excited the big question is did i feel safe because as you can see um i don't have a lock here so i'm all by myself [Music] [Applause] [Music] today i'm taking off another item of my bucket list of things to do in the philippines and one of those things is actually glamping here in el nido and i'm so so happy to be here i just made it in time for sunset it is beautiful i'm currently on nakpan beach at the glamping side and yeah this is my tent i'm going to sleep in this tent tonight super super excited i'll give you a quick room tour but yeah oh sunset is hitting really hard so this is this is my front yard not bad at all lots of palm trees and wow the sun looks so big i definitely wanted to see the sun for a little bit but as long as we have some sunlight i'm just going to give you a quick room tour all right so this is the entrance area to my glamping tent it is so beautiful i have these two sanchez right in front surrounded by these beautiful trees here and nature sound and some music from the bar over there but yeah that's fine yeah so this is my tent for tonight i'm so excited uh i have two beds in here a beautiful lamp and on this side i have aircon um a fan a hanger a little laundry just in case i want to relax read a book or scroll social media i don't know i don't know if they have internet here but uh yeah i think it's better not to be online and just enjoy the full experience i have a beach towel here and a little table with some amenities what is this soap shower cap toothbrush and my own little fridge so tomorrow when i wake up i will wake up to this this is not bad at all right something that is super surprising for me is that you know i have aircon here i slept in the philippines in tents already but i didn't have aircon and it can get really really hot during the night time so i'm super happy that i have a acorn in case i need it and yeah waking up is going to be amazing i'm going to give you a full tour tomorrow of the property and just enjoy today the first night here and let you know tomorrow how it went [Music] good morning guys it is the next day and i just woke up to some phenomenal news before i tell you how the night went in my tent i want to show you something very very special [Music] told me that there is turtle hatching right in front so i'm headed over there i already see some people that's so exciting [Music] that one's gonna win yeah so how many turtles are they 50 50 50 turtles wow and they hatched today and now they are making their way to the ocean it is such a magical experience [Music] wow what a nice thing to wake up to so cute some of the turtles made it and they hatched um during the night and the other ones are not quite ready yet they will probably walk to the ocean later on but yeah i love this sustainable project from the glamping place super super lovely and yeah this is basically the beach i wanted to show you this later but since i'm here this beach is pretty big and beautiful really nice so now i'm i think i'll head back to the tent and kind of get some coffee [Music] so this is the turtle station the next is here the next is here so the eggs from today were here the next ones that will hatch are they so cute love it so that was not the only station they have several other stations here so if you imagine 50 turtles hatched today that's great progress love this project this initiative [Music] okay i'm back by my tent as you can see in the background before i go in i have to wash my feet because i'm full of sand so i just need to get rid of that and something that you have to be aware of are sand flies here so they are called nicknicks and they're super super tiny and when they bite it's worse than a mosquito bite so definitely put on some coconut oil and use some bug repellent this piece of repellent okay let's talk about the first night of glamping here yeah i actually slept really really well i was super quiet you can hear a little bit of the ocean and i'm so happy i have this acorn because if you can see right now i'm sweating it's super humid so that's a plus to have aircon here the big question is did i feel safe because as you can see um i don't have a lock here so i'm all by myself in my tent and nobody else to protect me and yeah it was actually safe nobody came in um there is a guard in the front and there are several guards here who are just making sure that guests are safe there's also a door that gets closed during the night time so super super safe experience i would recommend to put your valuables in the safe just just in case but yeah otherwise it was a very very pleasant night super nice experience and now i need to get showered so yeah let's show you that [Music] so this is the toilet and shower um it's a shade bathroom so you have to wait in line in case there are people there but nobody here so i'm going to get a shower just a quick sneak peek [Music] so here's a little bathroom here's my bag toilet is on this side and shower is on that side okay i'll leave you guys outside because i'm not going to show you how i shower alright tea shower is done after breakfast [Music] okay i'm in the main area i skipped breakfast because i was just busy with other things but yeah this is the main restaurant here so as you can see it's directly located by the beach super nice view and you can just relax over there ah what a stunning beach and you have a lot of food options here international menu even healthy stuff smoothie bowls and stuff and i am going to show you the pool and then i think i pretty much showed you the whole property oh no wait a second there is one more thing all right so this is what i wanted to show you so in case you're not a glamping fan you still have some normal hotel rooms here which you can book super nice property i love it there's a little pool area that i still have to show you so bear with me okay back to the glamping side wow there's trees by the way i just met one of you guys viewer from the us and i was told that the island in the back here belongs to manny pacquiao it's quite crazy if you think i mean owning a whole island in this paradise it's unbelievable so that was the pool area and i forgot to mention they also have campfire stations where you can just stay during the night time enjoy yourself and you know watch the stars during night time but yeah this day has been phenomenal and a completely new experience really loved it i hope you guys enjoyed it too it was a very laid back vlog i was not too you know high energy how small like on the relaxed side
