What happens when a simple scooter trip around Siargao Island turns into an unexpected adventure? 🇵🇭🌴 In this Philippines travel vlog, my friend Shawn and I explore Siargao by scooter, searching for hidden gems, beautiful landscapes and authentic local experiences away from the usual tourist spots.

Our Siargao island tour didn't exactly go according to plan. Heavy tropical rain forced us to stop in the small town of Santa Fe, Siargao to find shelter. What initially felt like bad luck quickly turned into one of our favorite memories from the Philippines when we met local kids across the road and bought some Filipino Ice Candy from them.

Once the rain finally stopped, we continued our Siargao scooter adventure - until we suddenly lost internet connection and thought we were completely lost. Instead, the road led us to an unexpected secret viewpoint overlooking Siargao's incredible mangrove forests. Sometimes getting lost really does take you to the most beautiful places!

We finished our Siargao road trip at the famous Magpupungko Rock Pools and tidal pools, one of the best things to do in Siargao. With its natural tidal pools, white sand beach, turquoise water and relaxed local Filipino atmosphere, it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day exploring one of the most beautiful islands in the Philippines.
