Hello everyone. Today I will take as the third speaker of the affirmative team for the motion
that the encouragement of young adults aggressively seek out multiple streams of income
does more harm than good. Okay so now I will take roll as for that motion. Good day esteemed judges
and fellow debaters. My name is Jenny and I'm the third speaker of the affirmative team for the
motion that encouragement for young adults aggressively seek out the multiple streams
of income does more harm than good. We're on the affirmative side so we strongly agree with this
motion. Before I go into my ideas I'd like to rebut the other team's arguments. They said
that young adults are encouraged to seek out multiple income streams that have both financial
security, personal leads to stress and burnout. It is not good for young adults and teenagers.
We shouldn't seek out and I totally disagree with their ideas. Now I'd like to summarize
the team's case. So firstly mental health stream and burnout. Technically burnout is an exhaustion
that can lead to mental health issues like anxiety, depression and stress. Each income and stream
often comes with its own set of expectations and demands. Creating a constant multiple of
creating a constant pressure too much pressure for teens. So basically it's just can't make
to perform even to seek out of the terms of service. Secondly pressure to perform the young
adult often experience pressure to perform academically, professionally and to solve
to solve. This pressure can stem the various source including parents, peer, society, even
their own expectations. For example young adults often face considerable pressure to perform in
various areas of their lives including academics, careers, social life and mental health
can lead to stress in their lives and challenges. And lastly is economic harm. Recent economic times
have been particularly young adults. The economic data illustrated this especially
regarding the labor market and the public recognizes it. When asked which age group is
having a harder today's economy, a plurity of 41 percent of Americans say young adults are
struggling at most. Roughly 3 in 10, 29 say middle-aged adults are having the toughest time
and 24 points older Americans. In conclusion multiple streams of income does more harm than
good for young adults such as teenagers to even aggressively seek out. Dear judges and debaters
I've spoken and I yield my time. Thank you. Thank you you guys for listening for my speech today
and I'll see you guys bye
