Trophy hunting | Jennie

Hi everyone, today I want to talk about the topic of trophy hunting. So, what is trophy hunting? So, first I want to ask a question before we move to our vocabulary. So, trophy hunting is when you hunt for endangered or insolent animals. And you get their skin, or you can get their tusks. You can get anything that is really rare that most people don't have. It's trophy hunting. And most bandits do that. So, now today let's find out about trophies. So, firstly there is our achievement category. Number one is trophy. So, a trophy is an award or an achievement. For example, you go to a competition on debate or writing or drawing. You win first, second, third. So, they give you a trophy or their medal of achievement. Secondly, is that exotic is something rare. And you can say that. So, you can say it's exciting. Well, really you can say that you're excited, you're happy, and you're cool. So, that's a trophy. Number five, we have permit. So, permit is a license or whether a card that gives you permission to do something. For example, you say, can I have a permit? And if another person says yes, that means you have permission to do something. For example, that money to go to the shopping store like that. And number six is game. Game, this is another word. It's not about video game or mobile like that. It's a kind of wild animal being hunted for food or something. Like we eat meat, right? So, that is officially a game of trophy. You hunt animals to have food. Or you can say that there are balls made of skin animals, right? So, that is like a game. And you sport or eat. So, that is not good. I don't like eating meat anyways. Let's go to number seven. This pose. To sit or stand in a way for the benefit of an audience. Like me right now, I'm standing in a pose for you to like benefit my video. So, like I'm standing for you to watch my video or I can rather sit. But no, I don't want to sit. Anyways, let's go to number eight, unaffected. So, it's not good according to what most of you think is right or wrong. So, that is unethical. So, you can say that unethical is like when it's not good according to most people's thinking. For example, most of you think that it is unethical to eat meat. So, people think that it's wrong to eat meat. So, like that. Or it is unethical to trophy. It's not good to hunt animals. Number nine is conservation. This is not conversation. I'm not talking. But it's conservation. Conservation is about nature and animals. The protection of safe keeping of nature and environment. So, you protect animals. Number ten is booming. Booming is very popular and very profitable. So, it fits you very well. So, let's say that this advertisement is very profitable. Or this t-shirt is very popular. This video is very popular. So, you can say that is booming. Many people watching. So, let's go to our quote. So, one quote that says about trophy hunting is, Hunting is not a sport. In a sport, both sides should know that they are in a game. Made by Paul Richard Brees comic. In a comic. I'm not sure what comic it is. And now to our notes here. Is that I want to tell you about the compliments I have for this lesson. Is that for game. I think it's easier to work with games. It's different to do what you think. It's not about apps. Or it's not about playing with your hands. But it's about reality. So, let's find out. So, compliments are words that sound the same. But have different meanings. Okay. So, it's basically very, very familiar to you. It's because there are many words in English that sound the same. For example, fly. Because of whether a fly is flying. Or a fly. Always annoys you. Different meanings. Or it can have the same pronunciation. Different meanings. So, some compliments are games. Which means fun activities. Play sports. And play games like that. Or a game. About wild animals. So, that's really crazy. But it is actually different. About the meanings. So, today's topic. Today is all over. Thank you for watching. And goodbye.
