Hello everyone, my name is Jenny and today I want to talk about the motion.
This house believes that social media platforms should be held responsible for the content
posted by their users. Okay, so now let's go in to the side of the affirmative first.
So firstly, let's start my speech. So my speech will start right now.
Good day dear judges and fellow debaters. My name is Jenny and today I stand for the motion.
Social media should be held by the responsible for the content posted by their users.
Okay, so now let's go into my ideas. So firstly, the affirmative side. We need impact
and responsibility to post stuff online. We know that we need to take care of it or sometimes it
can lead to bad problems like hacking or stolen ideas. That is not good. So basically what you
need to do is that make sure that it's okay by your post and it isn't any dangerous.
Secondly, some harmful content can be contained in the internet. Hacking, copying, and also
writing the same information can lead to some bad feelings. So we don't want bad feelings.
For example, if you post something online and one of your biggest enemies will try to copy it
or copy it, then they bully you. So that's called cyber bullying if you're on social media.
So basically that can sometimes hurt your feelings in some cases. And lastly, thirdly,
it prevents some harmful things on the social media when people take responsibility.
So when people take responsibility and post things that people never posted before or about
their daily lives, that doesn't mean that it's the same. Sometimes people won't know others'
roots or what their life is like or what they want to read, write, not read. So you can sometimes
write the same information like others or others can write the same information like yours,
and that would lead to a serious problem such as fighting, cyber bullying, or arguing. For example,
if you were really excited about your new post, do you like, share, or do other things
with their friends and family by your post, you would be really excited. But sometimes
people just don't like it, so they would copy it and sometimes say something bad about it.
That is not good. Okay, so in conclusion, people should be responsible about their cases of posting
new posts on social media and the internet. Dear judges and debaters, I've spoken and I yield my
time. Thank you. Hello everyone, and today I am going to talk about the motion in debate is
this house believes that social media platforms should be held responsible for the content posted
by their users. Okay, so today I gonna be the negative side, so now start my speech. Good day
dear judges and fellow debaters. My name is Jenny, and today I stand here for the topic of this house
believes that social media platforms should be held responsible for the content posted by their
users. I strongly disagree with this motion, so let's go into my ideas. Firstly, we can have the
freedom to post anything we want. Not all people have to post and pause to take a quiz. That just
wastes time. Sometimes kids are really happy about their first post. They want to post it immediately
for viewers to look. They don't want to wait post. For example, they take a quiz if this is illegal or
not. Then they have to type yes or no. Well, that just wastes time because some kids don't know how
to type or some kids just don't practice. So yeah, and for example, if you are posting your first
video on some platforms, for example, YouTube or Ganji World like this, then you would think that
it's really easy, but sometimes you have to make information and make quizzes. For example, the
category, the title. Of course, the title can sometimes be yes. You have to do the category,
the audiences, and you have to press save. And also they have to make security too. For example,
they have to upload and transcode. That takes a really long time, but we can have the freedom to
post anything we want. So we can basically just do anything. Secondly, sometimes we're too busy to
even post or take responsibility of it. Many adults are really busy and kids have to go to
school and do their homework. They just have enough time to post. For example, one minute is
post. You just need to post it, type the title, and then you're done. No more taking quiz,
but if taking quiz, it can take a longer time. And thirdly, lastly, the economic impact
can happen if we take responsibility of it. The impact of the social media is really harmful.
Well, sometimes if we choose all bad stuff on quizzes or the things that they give us to take
note of if it's illegal or not, then sometimes people hate it. And illegal things can happen
on social media. For example, the media can stop working or they can eliminate you out of the
social media or delete your account in no time. So some people just feel that it's really
uncomfortable with it. So in conclusion, a lot of people just hate it a lot. So that's why they just
don't like it. Dear judges and debaters, I've spoken and I yield my time. Thank you. Thank you, you guys.
