Ford's First 4x4 Truck Gets 800HP Jon Kaase Big Block! | 1959 F100
Check out this insane 1959 Ford 4x4 build we've got wrapping up in the shop! This is Ford's first-ever four-wheel drive truck, and we're giving it the full treatment with some serious upgrades while keeping that classic "fridge truck" look.
Under the hood is a monster 572 big block Jon Kaase motor pushing 800 naturally aspirated horsepower - this thing is absolutely insane and sounds incredible. We kept the stock frame but loaded it with heavy-duty suspension upgrades, brand new front and rear axles, and everything needed to handle that massive power.
The customer went with Porsche Chalk paint - a really understated gray that looks amazing with all the Cerakoted original trim pieces. Interior is getting completely dialed in with a massive Mosconi amp, 13" JL subs, 6.5" door speakers, fiberglass headliner, and our Flaming River steering column setup.
What makes this build even cooler? This belongs to the same customer who owns that sick green Bronco on 40s - so he's building the perfect pair of 4x4 trucks. One for rock crawling, one for four-wheel driving and towing. Can't wait to see both of these beasts together.
Should be finishing up the upholstery in the next few weeks and putting miles on this thing. Stay tuned for more updates on this build!
