Okey-dokey, so today we're gonna take the goats for their little walk browse
Gonna shoot around too. So this is my
PCH been shooting it lately loving it. I'm shooting it just cuz it I kind of made it for target bow. It's a
Let me set this down
So it's a 60 inch bow
Super accurate
I was shooting a springy on it, but I just don't like the springy personally, so I put a little
It's like a the little felt
Stick on things that go on like the bottom of a couch leg. It was like probably that thick
Put it right here in line with the throat of the grip and then just put it under my calf hair
So it pushed it out since this
handle is
Inset I think they inset about an eighth of an inch so it pushed it out
Shoots really good off the shelf like that, but it's a 60 inch bow 41 at 26
So it's kind of my 3d bow. I guess you could call it. Look how awesome these overlays look though
That's my biggest buck. I've killed
Yeah, oh sage green glass in it
Looks awesome. We got a left
I'm gonna walk the goats
Here's the gang
One two three four five six seven eight oh gosh all right
Right you ready gang
Let's go
Love this bow I haven't shot it much, so I think I'm gonna use a little bit more this year
Okay, so this is what I like to stump shoot with
Just a water bottle filled with spray foam
Don't have to have a little rope on it, but helps to throw it or shoot at cow pads, but it's really rocky in this
part of Missouri so
Sometimes you can mistake a stump for a rock or a rock for a stump, but
Get some random yardage practice
I'm gonna throw this thing
Got it
By the way, I'm using good appointments. These are the best thing I know
Awesome practice
So one thing I've been working on is yardage judging and my gap so
This thing this little method is
So that random yardage is
I'm gonna try a uphill shot
Hill always work on get to the correct draw length
Just above it and a little bit higher just
The downhill shot
Hard hit on the rock
Wanted to talk about how I shoot an arrow
but
I'll work on
The stuff a lot so might change in the future, but I'll talk about what I'm currently working on in the next
So how I've been shooting lately, and I've tried a bunch of different things
So like playing around with it, but I like to do feather to my nose. That's kind of how I get consistency
So what I do is you'll kind of see this when you see me shoot
I might change this in the future, but this is what I'm working on currently
but I'll
Do my regular shot sequence draw anchor?
Aim and but the feathers actually touching my nose right now once I'm on the aim
I let off just slightly where it's not touching my nose
And then I pull pull pull pull until it touches my nose, and then it fires
And I do that initial touch because it's kind of like my check-in point if I don't do that
Like if my shoulders not set I could be if I don't do a check-in
I could be like a quarter inch off from my nose
So if I check in every time I just know I'm in the same spot
I let off maybe like an eighth of an inch. I try to do it very minimally and
Then once I'm set aim know my gap
Set my gap
Then I can start executing I pull pull pull pull till it touches, and then I know I can fire
But that's kind of how I do it. I'm gonna throw this thing
And I've done a lot of different methods used to shoot a string clicker a limb clicker
But I just don't like using those anymore, but they're awesome tools so
I love these overlays though. They have green glass under it with the Osage overlay
The Osage in green is coming out awesome. This bows about a year old so
It's not super aged, but definitely has darkened up
And then I love the thumb screws
Okay, let's shoot another
That one's a really quick shot
Most of the time they're only like 20
23 yards this one's pretty close
But I like shooting this
White jug because
It's easy to pick the spot, it's just one big spot
But it's actually
One way
My left hand is perfect just didn't have enough ump on it
So I just actually started working at Black Widow my husband's been working there
He's the limb gluer there at Black Widow, and he's been working there
Yeah, he's been working there for about four years
Then they asked me if I wanted to help out work there, so
Now I do super happy about it
I love to do so it's good
You put me in the camera am I in it
You're doing good
What hey film me, okay, okay?
Good I hit it
Oh good filming even pan to the target
So when I was a kid my mom would take me and my brother to Black Widow
we would
Shoot bows, and I was one of one as a kid and it's crazy that I'm married to someone that works there
But yeah, loving it so far
Okay, we're gonna work the way back
Oh
You missus so far think but shots are feeling good
Hey Koda
Oh
I'm gonna try to shoot the same. Hey, do you think I'm gonna hit this?
No
Oh proved you wrong
Now you have to eat that you were wrong you said I was gonna miss it
Yep
Yeah, you're gonna turn into a goat
So the PCH model the model was the very first widow I ever got I got it in a 58
this is
60 inch like I said, but I
Think I want to start shooting a takedown
Yeah, I think I'm gonna start shooting a takedown because I'm gonna I'm trying to save up preference points and stuff
But once I start traveling a bit more for hunting. I want to have just one bow for everything so I
Think what I'm gonna. Do is Bill get some
limbs here soon that are
carbon
maybe
But they're gonna be I do know they're gonna be 56 inches and then
Around 45 pounds
Just about anything in North America
But yeah, I just want to have one
Good bow set up that can travel with and then takedown is just way easier to travel with obviously and I love the PCH
KB my own KB. I think I'm gonna retire that thing because I'm gonna hand that down to Ayla
Don't want to accidentally
Break it or something like slam the limb tip in a car door or something dumb like that so
Might retire, but
We'll see goats kind of left
Oh
You got the goats
It's gonna finish out the morning session
Just shoot this clever
Turkey
Turkey season is actually in a week
Can't go for
I'm actually running out of storage here and my nose my knock
Set your shark. It's cutting me, but let's do the coon and call it good. Hopefully I can make it
storage ends up
Terrible
It is what it is
