First Look: Our New 1978-79 Ford Bronco Chassis with Supercharged Coyote | FFG x PBFab Gen 2
Introducing our brand new FFG x PBFAB 1978-1979 Ford Bronco chassis! In this video, Jason and Nate walk you through this exciting addition to our chassis partnership with Porterbuilt. This Gen 2 Bronco chassis features signature parallel four-link suspension with track bar up front and triangulated four-link in the rear, all built on 3/16" plate that's laser cut and CNC formed.
The 78-79 Broncos represented Ford's answer to the Chevy K5 Blazer - a full-sized family-friendly off-roader that was becoming more and more popular at the time. Our Bronco chassis delivers modern handling while maintaining the classic look. This build showcases a supercharged Coyote engine paired with a 10-speed transmission and Ranger transfer case, featuring a convenient dash dial for 4WD engagement.

- Fabricated end links on splined sway bars
- Heavy-duty RPM steering components
- FOX 10-inch coilovers
- Boyd Welding 30-gallon aluminum fuel tank with GT500 pump
- Set up for 35-inch tires
