We're adding ICON Active Suspension to this 1966 Mercury M250 crew cab and showing you exactly how it works. This isn't just a shock swap — it's smartphone-controlled suspension you can adjust on the fly, from soft and comfortable to stiff and performance-driven.

Roman's had this rare Mercury crew cab in his family for years, and we built it with safety and drivability in mind for his kids. It's got a supercharged 5.8L Trinity V8, custom FFG 4x4 chassis, and now ICON's active suspension system. We walk you through the install process, show you the app interface, and take it for a test drive to compare settings from 1 (softest) to 8 (stiffest).

ICON Vehicle Dynamics partnered with us to offer active suspension as an upgrade option on all our 4x4 and 2WD chassis builds. You'll be able to order your chassis with regular coilovers, progressive coils, adjustable shocks, or go full active suspension with electronic control. We're bringing the tech you'd find in a brand new Raptor or luxury SUV into classic trucks — because why shouldn't you have those options on a '66?

Roman takes you through the front and rear install, explains the progressive spring setup, shows the wiring and ECU mounting process, and then we hit the road. The difference between settings is immediate — you can feel the truck stiffen up for performance or soften down for comfort in real time. It rides smoother than a new F-250, and you control it all from your phone.

If you're building a 4x4 classic truck and want modern suspension performance with the ability to tune it for different driving conditions, this is worth checking out. Not required, but it's an option we're excited to offer.
