Why This 1967 C10 Is the Cleanest Chevy We've Built

Walking through a freshly finished 1967 Chevy C10 before it heads back to its owner in New Mexico. Supercharged Corvette LT4 under the hood, Air Ride on 22s, and Jason's calling this the cleanest Chevy the team has ever built.

We're a Ford shop first, but every once in a while a C10 comes through that reminds us why these trucks have such a following. This one got the full treatment — LT4 swap with all the hoses routed and covered so you don't see a single piece of rubber, brushless fans, Wilwood master cylinder and booster, and Porterbuilt hood hinges to make the front end work cleanly. Inner fenders were purchased instead of fabbed in-house, which saved time without sacrificing the look.
Paint is a Toyota color — an off-white with a green-gray tone that we've been wanting to try since we did a Nardo gray C10 about nine years ago. Paired with the Avant Garde 22x12s in the rear and 22x8.5s up front in a brushed matte finish, the whole truck has a clean, modern stance without losing what makes a '67 a '67.

Inside, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, a leather-wrapped Spark steering wheel, AC, and our FFG bench seat kit — same kit you can order and have shipped to your shop. Air management is hidden but accessible, hit a button for level one, two, or three and you're set.

We put 1,041 miles on this truck before it left. Then it got shipped to New Mexico with under 10 miles showing on the new odometer, the owner put another 500 on it right away, and it came back with a short list of small items we already had handled. That's why we drive every build the way we do — if there's something to find, we want to find it before the customer does.

Story in the video about the very first Air Ride truck we ever built nine years ago and what happened on the way to upholstery. We've come a long way.
