🥣 INGREDIENTS 🥄
For the Dough:
* 4 cups (1 lb 4 oz/568 g) bread flour
* ¼ cup (1 oz/28 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
* 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 3 tablespoons (1 ½ oz/45 g) cold butter, diced
* ½ cup (4 oz/115 g) granulated sugar
* 1½ teaspoons instant dried yeast
* 1¼ cups (10 fl oz/300 ml) lukewarm milk
* 1 large egg, at room temperature
* 1 cup (6 oz/170 g) bittersweet chocolate, chopped
For Topping:
* Egg wash, to glaze
* 2 tablespoons warmed honey
For the Chocolate Icing:
* ¾ cup (3 oz/85 g) powdered sugar
* 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1–2 tablespoons milk
* ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
