Norway, a fertile and beautiful land, is now a witness of a billionaire's escape.
What has turned this northern paradise into a hell for the rich?
Join us.
In 2023, Schilling Roque, a fisherman who successfully became an entrepreneur with 51 billion dollars, emigrated to Switzerland.
It was predicted that Roque's annual emigration would cost 175 million crowns, about 16 million dollars, to the Norwegian government.
Of course, Roque emphasized that he would leave his capital active in Norway.
Roque was the only billionaire and multimillionaire to leave Norway under the tax law.
Critics had warned that Norwegian taxation would be a threat to the escape of capital.
Rupert Mead, a Norwegian journalist, said that the number of billionaires who left Norway in 2022 was higher than in the past 13 years.
It is reasonable to expect that the exit of Norwegian representatives' capital will be re-emphasized in this financial policy.
But on the contrary, Norwegian representatives have adopted a new law.
They have allocated about 38% of the tax revenue to the unauthorized capital of individuals who have left the country.
According to the Inequality website, which publishes financial policies, class differences and social justice for the explanation of wealth,
Fredrik Haga, a journalist for Dune.com, said in an article that Norway has been left for Switzerland due to its unauthorized capital.
He wrote that it is not important that your start-up is damaged and unauthorized, that your capital is depreciated after the expiration date or that your company is bankrupt.
You also have to pay taxes.
With regard to the tax revenue, which is about 38%, suppose that you have to pay 1.6 million Norwegian crowns.
So you have to pay a tax of 1 million Norwegian crowns.
In fact, you pay a tax to pay a higher tax.
And without any personal income, in practice, you lose your original capital.
Haga wrote in response to the Norwegian exit tax that the Norwegian government, instead of trying to turn this country into a better place for trade and capital preservation,
has not found the right balance with this tax.
It has built a fragile financial wall because it is a Berlin Wall.
One of the disadvantages of economic science is that if you take a tax from something, you take less profit from it.
As a result, production, investment and even tax evasion is prevented.
And this is the result of the tax policy of the famous Norwegian.
The absence of heavy taxes, especially for wealthy people, has led to a decrease in the number of wealthy people who pay taxes.
The interesting thing here is that many of the politicians of Norway and the opponents of capital are not denying this issue and are happy about it.
In the office of the Socialist Party, a fragile wall has been erected in memory of all the wealthy people who left Norway.
The aim of this step is to show opposition to the escape of capital and the exit of capitalists from the country.
But the critics see it as an example of private and anti-employment policies.
The name Frederick Haga is also seen on this wall.
In fact, this was the action of the Socialist Party that led the founder of Doon.com to speak publicly about the tax policies of the poor in Norway.
The collapse that is taking place in Norway is reminiscent of the novel Atlas Schurid, the work of the Russian-American philosopher Ayn Rand.
In this dystopian novel, high-ranking officials and employees, under the pressure of a cruel government,
In the end, they leave the country with despair and despair, and take their wealth, creativity and achievements with them.
What we see in Norway today is very similar to this story.
In fact, it is clear that Frederick Haga knows himself as a real John Galt.
Haga knows Norway as the true reflection of Atlas Schurid.
Galt is a prominent and imaginative employee of this book, so much so that he has been invited by the leaders of the society,
and they are thrilled to meet him and applaud the system that exploits their abilities.
Part of Galt's inspiring speech is a reflection of Rand's determination, individualism and capital.
Galt says,
Of course, Rand's story is imaginative, but what is happening in Norway today is real.
Rich employees leave the country because they are fed up with the greedy politicians,
and they are fed up with the poor people.
Politicians like Kirsten Beckstor, the leader of the Socialist Party, can accept this situation and see it as a victory,
and writers like Pizzigati can claim that Norway will soon become the most equal nation in the world.
But the exit of capital and talent has a heavy cost, and in the end, it only ends up with a small profit.
Employees are vital to the economy and are the source of wealth and economic expansion.
Ludwig von Mises, an economist, writes in his book,
The elimination of employees from the market economy is impossible.
The complete factors of production do not take place side by side,
but must be brought together by the efforts of the targeted individuals.
If there are no employees, the market economy will not have a strong force.
The more employees leave Norway, the sooner the Norwegians realize that the love of the poor is completely different from the hatred of the rich.
Thank you for watching.
