finally made it toos bro first country in 2025 that's crazy man in 2020 I piloted a project I mean I came up with a concept of celebrating African Excellence by telling positive stories about African entrepreneurs believe me or not it was a success because my channel moved from 400,000 subscribers to A Million by the end of 2021 so when the project was successful in Ghana I decided to visit Nigeria and replicate what I was doing in Ghana so in 2021 when I found myself in Nigeria I was like what the best way to tell stories of successful Nigerian entrepreneurs hence the reason why I interviewed the CEO of innocent Motors the CEO of air pece the CEO of landmark and also this is the country that I met My adoptive dad which is T Mustafa who is not Nigerian but a gambian who was doing one of the biggest project that has ever happened in this country finally where I'm staying or where I normally stay whenever I find myself in Lagos the CE of Heaven homes but guess what on this particular street is where I did this video and I jokingly said since I'm seen celebrity names on this street I'm also a celebrity so it's time for me for them to put my name on the street it was just a joke I've seen something interesting in here and someone coming from Ghana seen to a Savage Street in here I looks a little bit like weird I mean who are the people that lives in here because I'm see a Savage street I mean you saw it too oh okay and I'm even see I'm like what is going on in here I mean everyone knows that that they live here I mean oh so let me understand they live here so they have their own streets mhm I mean although I mean there are other in high Network individuals who live here as well who really like their privacy I mean for every one of them there tons and tons bridge the between Africans in Africa and Africans in the diasp dip that's basically what happened oh and then we it looks like that's my shoe the way it has been covered do do you want yes yes so we were selling cment was selling for like 2,800 per bag and the exchange rate was about 500 naira to the dollar guess what today we're delivering cement is now 9,8 00 almost 10,000 naira uh exchange rate now is 1,500 1,600 so times three the cost but you still delivered but we still delivered and they didn't pay us anything extra we just kep to award the Integrity uh so people who paid like maybe 60 million then now the house is worth like 200 million and so it's just it's all part of keeping to our word so when we told you that we'll give you a street it's part of keeping to our word you understand the street hey can you believe it bro you know what when I started this even my own dad never believed in the dreams I'm just going to say to the extent so if you know what whataya means what means my mom celebrating my mom because my mom was the one who convinced my dad that hey if this guy wants to quit engineering and become a YouTuber why don't I support him and that is why my dad said okay this time around you can go out and do whatever you want so I decided to change my YouTube name to what Maya so it's beautiful to see that my mom actually grew up in Lagos my mom and dad
