The Image of AFRICA has been DISTORTED around the WORLD & We are CHANGING the NARRATIVE via YOUTUBE videos One Country At Time.Until the HISTORY of AFRICA is told by AFRICANS, the story of GREATNESS will always GLORIFY the IMPERIALISTS!. We are currently in the 6th Region Of Africa which is the AFRICAN DIASPORA to CONNECT the Dots by Bridging the gap between Africans across the Globe
I am from Monte go but guess what I pay
much more attention to Africa than
Jamaica trust me I am that guy that pay
more attention to Africa cuz that's
where I'm from that's my origin I'm not
I'm not so much
into caring about Jamaica only like some
other people think and have it that way
I am a man that think about Africa until
Africa free and able to live
the black man around the world there
will we won't be lifting up by any
means oh my goodness Jamaica is so
beautiful man I feel like the beauty of
Jamaica is on another
[Music]
level Jamaica are the best number one in
the
world I mean I'm so tempted to say that
Jamaica is the most beautiful island in
the whole of Caribbean but I don't want
to pull myself into trouble but
[Music]
listen the greediness of Jamaica is on
another level God bless
Jamaica
boom I made it to um monteo Bay the
touristic capital of
Jamaica Monte is a tourism Capital yeah
Monte is the best
in the Caribbean the fastest growing
city in the Caribbean is Monte Bay what
I like about monteo Bay is is is um it's
it's for business you know you have
lovely people here as well you know
don't don't don't get it wrong all the
crime and all those stuff going on in
mono Bay right this is a lovely place
all right this is the number one city
when it comes to tourism we're friendly
we're loving we're kind we know how to
relate
but for Monte Bay it's very peaceful one
love one love
Jamaica
[Music]
[Music]
Mones love to make land we
why do I love Jamaica I love Jamaica
because of three things the
greenness the bloodiness of the ocean
and finally the healing nature of
Jamaica I'm I'm a nature person and
listen I made
it to monteo Bay in short we say moay do
you know that this is the touristic
capital of Jamaica the second capital of
Jamaica but let me tell you something
where I'm staying I'm close to the most
high when I say I'm close to the most
high because I'm living on the holy
Mount
Zion you see the church right there that
is a popular Mount Zion Church in MO Bay
but have you liked this video yet
because today I believe that I need to
take you guys around monteo Bay one of
the safest place that I've ever been
don't believe in the Li don't believe in
the stories they tell you always go out
there go live your life go learn
something new and make sure you explore
they say Jamaica is the land of wood and
water but for me being here I'll would
say Jamaica is the land of AI and good
people I feel like people in here have
been super receptive super nice and I I
just wanted to know what is the polite
way of saying no to food in Jamaica
because everywhere you go they just want
to feed you tell me something what do
you really love about Jamaica uh it's
just the most beautiful country I've
ever been to Natural Beauty you see
there's one popular thing that you see
whenever you travel within the Caribbean
mhm that's the bread
fruit bread fruit is actually the meal
that they brought to feed the enslaved
Africans in here so one common food that
you find or one plant that you find on
all the Caribbean countries even suram
and Guyana is bread fruits learn that
from me I think there's Church going on
why don't you just enter the
church church the church is a very
historic church it is over 200 years old
who built it all right it was built by
slaves um don't bother the see that you
when you're on top of the building that
you're looking at there used to be a
port down there all right history have
been told that the slave brought the
bricks on their head all the way from
the port up here climb up yeah and climb
through the
hill if you live in Jamaica or you've
ever visited Jamaica you would
definitely agree with me that monteo bay
is definitely one of the most beautiful
places in
Jamaica and as you drive into montigo
Bay you are greeted by L
and Royal Palm line
[Music]
vists whenever you do road trips you
always have to stop by somewhere and get
something and I found something along
the stretch as we enter monteo Bay but
it's quite popular man I can see almost
every fast food that you want to I mean
you eat from is around here can you tell
what's the name of this place Wier
Village Witter Village W Village what is
Wier Village pop for yeah shopping area
restaurant local restaurant and um you
know shopping for one interesting fun
fact that I found in Montego Bay that I
believe that is so hilarious the fact
that the people from the Caribbean
always fight about whose KFC is the best
so apparently monteo Bay got the best
KFC in the entire Caribbean please don't
come for me that is what I saw in the
book If you from Trader that let me know
in the comment section let's fight in
the comment section I mean that's what
brothers
do after exploring monteo Bay I would
definitely describe this city in three
[Music]
sentences this city is known for its
countless chains of magical beautiful
[Music]
Resorts and when it comes to M beautiful
white sand be es will always be your
portion and on top of that you'll be
blessed with beautiful natural juicy Cy
women hey y'all come look at
this listen
[Music]
J
[Music]
land Jamaica is a blessed land can I
have Hallelujah in the comment section
amen God bless you
all if you're a big fan of playing golf
know that Montego Bay is a golfer
Paradise with dozens of world class Golf
[Music]
Course
Jamaica is really beautiful and I'm just
going to encourage you all to come visit
and experience
Jamaica
hi my goodness like almost every corner
in monteo Bay someone will just say
hello to what Maya this is crazy man I
never KN oh hi how are you nice oh my
goodness look at that
but anyway that's not why I'm here I am
here to show you my
goodness all
right this is what makes Jamaica special
if I ever tell you that Jamaica got a
special place in my heart this is what I
meant I mean forget about the natural
beauty of Jamaica the healing nature of
Jamaica how beautiful the beaches of
Jamaica are but there's one youi thing
about
Jamaicans the warm heart and the
hospitality of the people what is one
thing that you love about Jamaica one of
the thing I love about Jamaica is is our
people okay our people are very
unique and um and they are and they are
very easy to really to really counteract
with so anyway I'm here to show you the
safest part
of Mo I mean they call this place the
hip street it's where almost all the
tourists comes in here if you're from
Jamaica and youve never been to this
part I guess you're not in Jamaica yet
so if wherever you find yourself in
Jamaica make sure you make it to PP
Street I mean this is the popular you
Boat restaurant it's called tracks and
Records we have one in um Kingston and
this one is in mono Bay then
this is this is super crazy man because
he's called boat he used
boat to make his
structure symbolize so this is more like
the boat of
boats you say boat anyway it's so cool
to see that he's investing in his own
country I mean after retirement you get
something to invest in it how cool that
is woo get me do that last
time there a l
and
[Music]
you someone might ask if monteo Bay is
safe you have lovely people here as well
you know don't don't don't get it wrong
all the crime and all those stuff you he
going on in mono Bay right it's this is
a lovely place all right you come you
see blind he death you just live you
understand me exactly yeah just keep
gods in your prayer like every day you
know don't leave the L the Lord out of
your prayers because this man is the
that keep us going flowing like that you
understand me and everywhere in the
world is dangerous exactly you
understand me everywhere but it's the
way you live just live with a good heart
just like you
[Music]
man I am here and I'm walking by myself
to tell you that there is always two
sides of a coin I don't feel threatened
because I'm working here as a local but
I'm just telling you that where I'm
walking which is what Hip Strip is
actually the safest place in monteo Bay
for both tourists and local so if you
ever make it to monteo Bay I mean come
and take a walk and this place is
actually most of times it's a tourist
Hub whatever you looking for you'll get
it from
here this city is not all about Resort
golf courses and beautiful white sand
beaches there is more to monteo Bay
that's why I want you all to come along
with me as we head to the downtown of
monteo
[Music]
baby this is the Heart of the
City it's really a busy battling
City I feel like the entire population
which is estimated about 500,000 people
all live in the heart of moay
[Music]
thank
you you're from here yeah can you tell
me something about
moated Second
City never
sleeps great I love that famous see you
see hey man big up man thank you man you
see your watch all the time thank
you thank you thank you so much all
right you were the one I saw on YouTube
asking Jamaicans what they think about
Africa Africa yes you were the one I
know I saw the face I saw the face on
YouTube thank you and the woman was
saying that the reason why mhm she
wouldn't she wouldn't want to live in
Africa it's because the men them treat
the women them bad yeah them love to um
turn them out of the house yeah even
when they're pregnant and the wom them
know when the husband leave them and
gone abroad and probably for 3 years or
so they taking money in the husband's
house but but but that is not true yes
it's true I saw it on YouTube no because
you saw in movies but that's it's not
movies I watch Mary Jane and ever blings
the ladies and man in the husband house
and when the husband come back no care
just care come like they don't do
nothing at all you understand and and
some of the men
them just have fight can get back their
houses that's what I don't like about
them yeah and the family love take their
family man take away their family man
and then up here and that's what
in Jamaica here they couldn't have done
it they couldn't have done
it so this is downtown downtown
mon this is where the local people do
hling yeah it's so busy but if they if
they the police police catch him on the
street they took away their stuff and
they have to go to
court so as we can see most of these
these building here Supermarket H owned
by Chinese the whole Supermarket every
Supermarket you see on St James Street
it's owned by Chinese own by Chinese so
what do black people own here then the
street he saying that black people own
the street in here yes they look on the
street you see any chin in the street
selling no no you only see black people
selling on the street wow and if the
police come and catch G right now they
go the
G oh so it's also illegal to sell on the
street but they are still on the street
yeah they still so if police come here
they can get arrested yeah took away
their stuff and go good but the main
shops are owned by Chinese people yes
Chinese and
[Music]
Indian this is this is the center of
mono Bay yeah some be w what what is
this place all known for what happens in
here well it's like it's it's all about
fun it's all about fun yeah celebrate
Christmas here right until New Year I
know you all are getting
entertained but what Maya is all about
detainment so it's about time for me to
educate you about the history what
happened in monteo
Bay what are this Monument represent
two of her in great hero of Jamaica Sam
sharp and Nani oh nanny of the mar n of
the
Maron I know about Nan of the Maro but I
don't know about Sam okay Sam
sharp he's one of our great national
hero in
Jamaica that's a man who fight for a
black man freedom in Jamaica in
Jamaica Sam Sharp
was born
1801 he was murdered
1832 he's very young very young when he
was 31 years of
age Sam sharp he was a Baptist preacher
the name of this queer were Charles
queer he became Sam Shar queer this
whole area whole area here wow Tom shop
Square win of Monte go
Bay Monte go Bay was a sugar cane
plantation that's where the slaves used
to
work but Sam sharp he said he rather to
die as a free man more than live as a
slavery so Tom Sharp he never work in
the plantation
so the English they CAU some Shar and
hung some
Shar right at the water fountain here
that's the water front rather yeah
that's where he was murdered that's
where he was hung and after they hung
him they bury him inside of the church
under the pulit where he used to preach
I would rather die upon Yonder Gallows
than to leave in slavery those were the
last words of samsh before he was hanged
and
executed his name may not be as popular
as framed Freedom Fighters like marol X
and quam kruma but I think he's not as
popular because Jamaicans are not making
so much noise about some Shar just like
the way Jamaicans make so much noise
about Marcus gavy I think it's about
time to give Sam Shar the credit it's
about time for Jamaicans to be so loud
about Sam Shar because after reading
about Sam
shab I'm not going to be here and lie to
you I actually heard the name of Sam sha
for the first time in monteo Bay but I
think the entire world needs to know
about Sam
[Music]
Shar I mean I know he's a national hero
in
Jamaica but the act of Sam Shar the
boldness of Sam Shar gave Jamaica the
freedom the Emancipation that they have
today you won't believe that at the age
of 31 he became the main instigator of
the Christmas slave rebellion I mean
this is where enslaved African refused
to work after Christmas Hol dayss in the
year
1831 the slave rebellion which began in
mbay was largely instrumental in
bringing about the abolishment of slave
train
but s chapters as you see burel Memorial
Church that a second oldest church in
monteo
Bay it was
built
1824 and after
1832 when Sam Shar was murdered in the
Square he was buried inside of the
church
underneath the ppit where he used to
preach not just that the slaves that
were convicted during that time over 500
of them were
executed what is this
Monument well the Monument
of the people who get executed right
here in the war so all these names that
you see here there are people who they
hung right here from different Parish so
in total you got a 60,000 60,000 I as
you can look all about different
parishes see you have Parish of
Handover all the way down here the
hanging chamber is built on a bottomless
pit that's
open so when they hang them up inside
Cut the Rope they go straight to the
[Music]
ocean I feel
like Africans are really
resilient especially seeing Africans
living in the
Caribbean with all the atrocities that
they went through from being captured
from their Homeland and taken into the
new world and with everything that they
went
through they still made it and this is
why I'm telling each and every black
person
that you're
powerful you're mighty it's about time
for you to know who you are it's about
time for you to identify what exists in
you that makes you a black man you are
not inferior but rather
Superior it's my prayer that one they
the entire black people across the globe
will emancipate themselves from mental
slavery I mean as it stands right
now Africans in Africa have their
political
Independence Africans living the
diaspora have their
emancipation but the shackles on our
brains still exist and I just hope that
someday
who remove those
shackles this is the church yeah what is
so significant about this church well
this one this was the first church that
built in monteo Bay by who by the
English this is an Anglican
Church it was built 7
1975 it was destroyed by earthquake
1957 and re
1959 did the earthquake affect so many
places in this area no the only part of
the church did D try the tower the Bell
Tower and the bell to Tower it contain
13
Bells 12 small one and one big one so
they repair the 12 small B here in
Jamaica but the big one they put it on
the cruise ship and send it to England
to Liverpool to rebuild and bring it
back here so this is the oldest Church
Old Church in okay and it's open every
day for visitors they still do wedding
now go inside they do wedding graduation
Council baptism funeral everything
[Music]
done everything that you see inside this
church is
original this stain glass you see up
there it's over 200 years old you know
in in Jamaica we have more Church than
School
could have believe unless you tell me we
have more Church in Jamaica yeah more
than School more than school yeah but we
have more bar than
[Laughter]
Church no I'm saying
mhm we just celebrate 61 years of
anniversary I know we get our
independence from the British the 6th of
August
1962 but I don't see make no sense CU
right now we are still in slavery right
now well what what makes you think
so
well the rich don't cares about the
poor the rich cares about the
rich and without the rich don't cares
about
we we have to still be
slave day and night to achieve something
which it shouldn't be like that be
Independence we should live
independent we should be
dependent CU we get independent we it
gone so we don't get independent they
should call it
dependent we have to depend on
people so we are dependent we are not
independent we still we still depend on
yes we still depend on
people
everything and we have to work shut back
off of back to
achieve and when you work and should get
pay it takes a while to get your pay and
still you don't get the full pay that
you could get bill so how do people
survive then it's really rough but you
know what in
Jamaica we eat what we grow and we grow
what we eat
in the country we do a lot of farming we
grow what we want to
grow sometime you have to eat what you
grow not me to came by
sometime but we have love we have love
exactly not because we are poor we have
love and love is the greatest thing I
love that yeah is the greatest thing my
brother much
[Music]
respect the r
do his little carving for survival it
take
times to make it it take times to sell
it 2 3 4 5 6 month you got to have it sa
place and never get to sell if a tourist
don't come here and buy it from him no
black man buy it from him so it's
strictly for tourist you s stly for i s
you I'm not a tourist not a tourist man
that's why I said I sell you so you can
prove it's not for
tourist I love that I love
[Music]
that see
see what
man what a YouTuber nice to see you man
you yes he's famous he's very famous man
Facebook YouTube is's very famous y
I cannot end this video without coming
to this popular market right here man
where what do they sell in here
everything everything you think about
everything you think about look over
there Pat PE
mango my I'm marine marine I'm from
Ghana oh I'm from Jamaica nice to meet
you nice to meet you too yeah is it true
that Ghana
Africa which is a
continent we have similar fruits our
standard living is
similar it's it's exactly the same thing
if if you go to a market in Ghana or a
market anywhere in Africa it looks
exactly like this just like us right of
course just like us you look like
exactly yes if you have same skin tone
yep yeah we have a similar
beliefs in sense of
religion eating habits and all of that
that makes us one wherever we find
ourselves that's why we say in Jamaica
we are out of many one
people so we have we have different
races that live here and we consider
everybody being the same but you you
believe that you and I are Africans of
course we're from the same descendants
why not if if you cut me and I or you
cut or me or I cut you it's the same red
blood right exactly yeah skin tone makes
us from the Mand there you go if you
have a message for Africans across the
globe what would that message
be respect each other love each other
show
understanding and everything just fall
in place but the main thing is love you
have to show love and if you don't love
yourself you can't love anybody
else come on man what a beautiful city
what are you waiting for why are you in
mobit yet come and visit forget about
all the lies that the media has been
telling you this is actually a paradise
on ADD I want to ask you with all that
I've been saying have you liked the
video I know you smiling because you're
enjoying but most importantly subscribe
so that anytime I preach that word from
the heart will reach you amen
[Music]
