There is nothing that you cannot achieve in this world, impossibility only exists in your mind,
believe in yourself. Hello good people as you might already know I am building my dream house
in Kisumu city Kenya. Today we've come to the village to get some timber for support for the
first slab because we are just about to put the slab to the first floor. So I'm just going to give
you a glimpse of where the village house is and where I partly grew up and of course I'm going to
show you the new house as we progress. So come with me I don't know which angle this video is
going to take but trust me we're going to catch cruise, we're gonna have fun, maybe a little bit
of the house tour and maybe for some inspiration to just see you know that before and after which
I'll definitely do once the new house is complete. In the meantime enjoy, let's get right into the video.
Wow a lot of times I've traveled to different countries and shown you village life of how
people live and a lot of you have been interested to see my village life so well here it is today.
This is just a reminder that there is no shame in small beginnings.
Village vibes with African tigers. These rains are killing my vibe because I really wanted to
catch cruise today so this video is gonna might take a different direction than I actually wanted
to do it. Anyway welcome to the African tigress village anyway so actually I remember this is my
Pua village home. Oh yeah welcome to the African tigress Pua village home so let me just show you
my Pua village home it's somewhere there in my background so I'm going to try and give you a tour
in this rainy rainy rainy weather and I hope the yeah I hope the sounds of the rain are soothing
and not annoying so ladies and gentlemen welcome to how we live here in the village in Africa let's
go. All right behind me we have trees this is a guava tree and then we do have some firewood
down there we have loquat and guavas and eucalyptus and gravella all these trees so
in this village we have very many trees I've never been anywhere that is greener than this village
I've never seen anywhere greener than this as you can see even across the river actually
everywhere you're seeing like an elevation just not before you cross over there's river so
this place is surrounded by several rivers so we have a river down there and when you go right
right right right round to this side I'll give you a better view there's also a river on the
other side so you can see I have neighbors we don't live in isolation there's neighbors in
the village but now let's get to the house oh before we get into the house this is a toilet
and a bathroom these are the outside toilets and bathroom they it's like the septic
the rain is taking my umbrella anyway so let's get in let's get in the wind is blowing too much
so welcome welcome welcome welcome welcome welcome
oh my goodness it's raining it just become too violent
anyway this is the veranda we did some matchy matchy mix and match beautiful tiles over here
so this is the veranda the entrance to the house and this is the door to the living room let's get
right in my family doesn't really stay in this house we stay at the city so we have a caretaker
who came to stay here taking care of the compound and taking care of staff here with a wife and
children so they're the ones who stay here so most part of this house is not utilized this house has
been I don't know but I think it was built in the 90s yeah my mom told me like this house was built
in the 90s so this was like the most fashionable house in the village at that time but anyway so
let me just continue showing you around and it is actually a four bedroom bungalow so
house tour I'm super excited about these I'm gonna show you where I was sleeping with a chicken
at that time and so so much more and the grace of God and the father of come so let's let's
see how this whoo okay now let's get right into the house and we are in the living area
wow wow let me stand on that corner to give you a full view of what this place actually looks like
but this is basically the living area but on that corner we'll have a better view so let's go
whoo let me know what do you think
amazing right so vintage so right there that is the entrance to the living room with a very
beautiful floating curtain
floating curtain and then we have a couch here and yeah so from one corner this is the whole
living area so we have couches okay I know I know don't say it but we do have some couches here so
and an amazing very fashionable coffee table and we tried to do a matchy matchy thing so you know
the tiles they have to look like the I don't know this roofing ceiling so it can look the ceiling
no chandeliers or anything special just regular light bulb and with matching tiles but I still
I actually still love the tiles they are really good they look really good and they're mixing
and with the whatever very fashionable you know I think I just unlocked something in me bear with
me the lighting indoors is really not good so the video might be a little bit grainy and of course
it's raining so you might hear some noise but guess what I just unlocked something in me can
you see how we match the brown and the you know I can actually be a designer although I'm not the
so we can actually be a home interior designer yeah with this matchy matchy perfect interior
designer and I also discovered I just realized the curtains are also matching with the seats
so gray and gray oh I think I need to pursue something so if you want your house to be
designed someday I could be your interior village house designer what do you think about that
matchy matchy the seats and the curtain the floor and the roof so I think my mom can be
an interior designer this is an exquisite an exquisite test but I don't understand
what the blue is doing on the door I don't understand why the blue is in the door anyway
so this is my village home if you're coming this is where I'm going to host you this is where you'll
well now let's check out the next room let's get right in here straight from the living room
the window that you see that's like you know in the 90s I think 80s those that's when people
could do designs like from the kitchen you have a receiving window so I'm hoping like
these days we have open kitchens and other designs but back in the days you know you
needed like a closed kitchen and like a window and like a window to serve and a window to serve
food to the living area so I don't know if people still do this design these days but this is just
so old school so let's keep going and now we are here I'm going to take you to the kitchen please
and then we have a corridor I don't think people do corridors as much these days we had a corridor
so the idea was that that room you see straight there I'm going to show you later that was
supposed to be where we would keep shoes like shoe rack and all that and maybe laundry baskets
dirty cloths and all that and then straight here was the kitchen and then when you go this way
we have two rooms I'm gonna show you later but let's go to the kitchen first so there's a bedroom
here another bedroom there another bedroom here and another bedroom on that side so it's four
bedroom and wow look at this we had an ark oh wow so this is the ark
singing dancing and all that this one reminds me of those arcs that people put on their wedding
yeah you can see it clearly so I'm moving back because there's a very bright bulb on that side
and I want to be a little bit clear but because of that I'm going to use the back camera for you
to have a better view or a better tour of my village house okay so now let's go through the
that is the door to the exit so unfortunately I'm not going to go out right now because
it's still raining but I'm going to take you there and this is the room where the caretaker
the wife and the other room that the children are using so I'm not able to show you the room
they are using due to privacy but this is their bedroom okay and now welcome to the kitchen
anyway so this is our kitchen so back in the days I'm going to show you back in the days
this is how we used to make the fireplace so this is how you cook with firewood you can see
this firewood there and this is the bench you sit on this bench you sit on here you put it here
you light your fire here and you sit and then the smoke goes all the way so the houses had chimney
so modern kitchens of course people don't make that these down here are supposed to
be kitchen cabinets but my family my parents moved out of this village so they didn't like
really do complete furnishing for this house these are supposed to be storage wardrobes
but well this is what this is it this is how you would cook and yeah this is this pot cooked
and you can see the old school design of plates and all that well still I think this is really
cute I think the kitchen surface top I would still use such a tile for it because it's really nice
and yeah so this is the surface top some utensils here oh my goodness this is so cute this is so
vintage wow this is a kettle like so vintage like I've seen this before but this wow amazing
right it's so cute I don't know so vintage like you can use this for decor in the house
anyway so we have a window here to the other back of the house that I'm gonna show you
and there's a couch here very vintage as well so you can be when someone is cooking right here
they can just serve you and eat from here or sit here and story tell to them so let's continue
let's continue I'm not gonna go there for privacy reasons and also I'm not gonna go there for
privacy reasons because those rooms are being used by the caretaker so uh this one is one of the
bedrooms it's locked let me see bedroom I love the curtains though my favorite thing is the
curtains I think they're cute yeah so this is the other room and we're supposed to fix
wardrobes there but like I told you like my parents moved out of this place before it was complete
due to work and all the rooms are self-contained so this is one of the bathrooms
well self-contained well tiled and that's it now that the rain has subsided a bit
let's go and see what's at this other entrance
right so this is uh the back of the house and here we are this is the chicken some chicken
actually now in the house the the big one so this is the free-range chicken in case you've
never known so you see this one this one that's going there with the reddish thingy on the head
and all that that is the male chicken and then the others those ones are the female the one with
the big whatever mouth the smaller ones female and the taste is better than mcdonald's and kfc
and everywhere else and let's keep going oh my goodness this is so tight anyway so here we are
i'm loving this continue this is to the back of the house i don't know why they left the baby's
clothes to be rained on this thing is called the k apple so because we're wearing chicken right now
you can see there is a mesh so that they don't run off to their farm so this is where we stay
but beyond here you can see we have maize we have bananas all the way going all the way to that side
as you continue all the way i'm gonna show you maybe on uh later if it's not muddy if it's muddy
i'm not going to to the farm but now they put this mesh so that the free-range chicken that we have
can freely feed in the compound we're gonna see some of them and then we have these mega tank
this one how many years how many liters it's how many years i saw your seven years warranty
so we have this massive tank so this collects rain water uh i don't know maybe this is ten
thousand liters i don't know how many liters it is but it's already full you can see it's
draining from the top oh it's six thousand yeah so this is six thousand liters
so oh my goodness how am i stepping down from here okay so let's continue well so basically
that's the view but i want to also show you the view i took when it was not raining when it was
much easier and maybe a little bit brighter
wow it looks bright and green actually when it rains oh that's the caretaker's baby one of the
babies for the caretaker so yeah so we're back from where we started and now some chicken
this is free-range chicken this is not your kfc chicken you can't and this there's no better
chicken than this chicken especially the female one this is a male and the one without the big
red thing on the head is the female one so we let them to freely eat in nature
grass you know this free-range chicken eat from the ground so most of the things they feeding on
is from the ground the grass and all that but you put like a point here where they are
getting water drinking water because if you're leaving them in the compound they'll need to get
water and they don't know how to open the taps yeah so this is it this is it i just love this
place i don't know but like especially after it rains it's really nice beautiful bright and green
and about this outdoor toilet and bathroom so the rooms in there like i showed you one
they are self-contained so the bathroom and toilet are inside and the pipes are connected like
somewhere on the ground and they come to this outdoor bathroom and toilet because that's
actually they're built on top of septic tank of a septic tank so you can also use them as
an outdoor bathroom and a toilet if you want or if you are not using the inside or we barely have
a water shortage but maybe in case there's water problems i mean it's better here so that you don't
mess it there so green and so beautiful well now that i've given you a little bit of my village
house tour unfortunately i couldn't be able to access all the rooms because of course you know
in as much as you have people working for you you have to also respect their privacy so
yeah anyway so a little bit of encouragement you know you can achieve anything and everything you
want so from this house actually like really i mean partly growing in this house i spent a few
i don't know a few i don't know how long but it was just like so little time in this house and
right now i really want to do something really nice and i know there's nothing impossible it
doesn't matter how poor you are anything can change there's nothing that is permanent you
can get that house you dream for you you can get that car that you dreamed of like you can achieve
it just believe it and one thing about me i highly believe in manifestation i have seen things
in my life come to fruition just because i really spoke about it a lot or just because i
manifested it in so many ways and this thing come to reality i don't know some people they say it
doesn't work but for me i believe manifestation actually works and when you speak to the universe
whatever you ask i believe the universe is listening so that's why it's always very
important to speak positivity because i believe the more positive you are and all that you kind
of attract positive things that's what i believe i mean sometimes it's human nature sometimes we
tend to be more pessimistic and you know discouraged and all that but be encouraged
be encouraged you can do it team tigers it's possible there's nothing that you can't achieve
i don't have everything i desire in this world but i know that the things i need they will come it
doesn't matter how long it's gonna take but i know i'll eventually get the things that i desire
and the things i want to attract in this world and yeah it doesn't matter it doesn't matter who
told you no and even if people told you it's impossible it's only impossible to them but you
need to believe in your dreams believe in all possibilities there's nothing impossible it
doesn't matter how many times you've been told no it doesn't matter uh if you are misunderstood
it doesn't matter like the most important thing is to believe in yourself if you can't believe
in yourself who will so you really have to believe so much in yourself and you can do it okay all
right i don't want to sound like i'm preaching so thank you so much for watching this episode
i hope you truly enjoyed it make sure you hit the like button share and subscribe and
see you on the next episode where i'll be giving you an update of how far we are we're building the
new house so away from this let me run away i have to go back to the city i told you we don't stay
here but anyway we do visit you know at its home we have to check on it often so let me run from
here and run to my future this is my past so let me run to my future anyway just kidding so we are
now leaving the village uh let me take you to the farm i'm actually at the farm section so let me
show you a little bit of what we're doing here in terms of farming i've now crossed a little bit to
the farm section so we have some corn and in between we have beans these are beans kidney
beans i think they're called kidney beans uh yeah so this is how corn grows so this is a little bit
of the farming that we are doing here in the village and yeah we also have sukumawiki so i'm
gonna show you where we have the sukumawiki but yeah let's go let's go let's go let's go
let me see oh we also have bananas on the other side i showed you some of them are deep on this
side but we also have these ones as you can see like this one here so corn like it really grows
so nice so green so healthy and so tall they are all taller than me no most of them i see shorter
ones anyway so we have that and we have something here i just spotted but i don't know it's like
it's been harvested plenty of it so there's a line here of i think this one is called the african
nightshade this is traditional vegetables they're called the african nightshade they have sometimes
like these ones and what else do you have here so we do have yeah this is still it so this is
still part of the african nightshade and then this is the i think it's called spider i don't know
i've forgotten the name of these ones but in kenya this one is called managu um this one is called
saga and then of course we do have sukumawiki this is our staple staple food like i think
every kenyan eats kumawiki it's like very common okay we do have some avocado you can see but these
ones are not yet ready they like really grow so big but the other plant that's there's another
avocado plant there the fruits are even bigger than these ones these ones they are almost maybe
in some few weeks these ones will be ready so sukumawiki and these are sweet bananas these
are not the regular bananas these are called sweet bananas so basically that's it
and more and more corn here more and more corn here we call it maize some people call it corn
but it's more or less the same thing so we have a lot of this so this is where we get maize flour
from if you're not buying you can actually take this to a portion meal and it gets grinded and
