Kangaroo Point Bridge connect the CBD to Kangaroo Point in Brisbane and was open to pedestrians and cyclists at a cost of $288 million to built which started construction in 2021. It was open on the 15th December 2024 and made history as it is now the tallest bridge in Queensland with it 95 meter mast and needed to use the world's strongest crane to put it in place.
The new 460 meter bridge connects Scott Street at Kangaroo Point to Alice and Edward street in the inner city across the river.
Since opening for two weeks 133,933 pedestrians have cross the bridge and 18,733 cyclists and 9,508 on scooters.
