One Roll Lemon Ruffle Wreath with Cruffle on Top |Wreath Kit Made into 2 Projects

[Music] hey I'm Lori welcome to my Channel today we're going to be making a super cute kit from festive Creations by Stephanie look how cute this is so it's a spring and it comes with the sign a mesh and three ribbons and then this little cute Greenery what I like is this is a smaller base so it'll be a lot of fun to show you how to put mesh on this base just using one mesh so these smaller bases have less Ties on them and they'll end up coming out pretty full so don't don't think that it's going to end up being a really small wreath because it won't now you can make them smaller if you're trying to make it for a smaller door but they have have 1 2 3 4 5 six seven on the bottom one two three four five on the top so when you have kind of an odd number like that it's great to just use one roll of the mesh and then kind of just use the same ribbons in each one so this is a 10in wreath form and it should make about a 20in wreath so there are 12 ties in this what we're going to do is we're going to cut our mesh into 15in pieces [Music] okay so next we're going to get our ribbons cut up so we're going to need 12 ribbons we're going to use all three we're going to cut them at 12 in so we need 12 so I'm going to use my measuring tool my comb to measure these out so each time I go around so this is one this is two three four five so on it just makes it a little [Music] faster so I just slide it off and trim them on both sides [Music] there we go then I'll dovetail them so you just fold it over cut towards that wired Edge so I'm going to start by opening up up our ties so we don't have to pause and do that as we're putting things in we're going to make little bundles to put in to our B I'm going to combine a couple of different mesh methods so we're going to do ruffle with a woodland ruffle so for the ruffle you want to lay it flat the way that it comes off the roll okay so this is side up now this is Juke mesh so I don't really have to tuck anything under because it's not going to fray very much so I just go straight up to get the ruffle you'll see it kind of looks like a bow tie okay now I'm using my tool but if you don't have a tool you can just ruffle it up with your hands the Woodland ruffle you do on the opposite side so upside down so for the Woodland ruffle you want curls on each end so with a smaller piece like this I'm only going to curl it a couple times so one two and I'm going to put that in my tool okay I'm going to do the other side one two and then ruffle the rest of the way so this Woodland ruffle is going to go on top of the regular ruffle and it's going to make it look fuller and larger then we're just going to take our ribbon set here fold it in half so find the middle pinch and then gather it right up in that middle and you want to get your hands underneath it it's wired ribbon so it'll sit nicer on the wreath if you just kind of get a little bit of curve in it so we put it down pull the whole thing out put it down in our base and we're going to tie it right in the middle kind to spread out everything kind of move our ribbons a little so we can see there's a few and I'm going to take my tie and I'm going to curl it in on itself okay so you should end up with a little kind of hole there okay let's do another one okay so this one let's do without the tool okay I like to use the tool because my hands tend to hurt and so it just stops that from happening okay so face side up you just go straight down the center you're pushing with your thumbs pulling with your fingers I am going to put it in my tool just to hold it but you could use your bow maker a bow dabra a clip whatever you have for this I'll do one two and then I'll put a clip here okay flip it around one two and then ruffle it up just like that so either way you do it it works both ways there take our three ribbons pinch in the middle get a little curl on it pull the whole thing out and place it down now when you place it down what you want to do is ruffle these sides together so what I like to do is take the beginning and just kind of walk it down like this so that they are ruffling against each other that's going to make it stand up better and it's going to make your wreath a lot Fuller okay so then we just kind of do our ribbons a little bit okay and I'm going to do the rest on the bottom and then we'll do one on the top together it's going to be the same same process over and [Music] over okay we've done the bottom so now we can do the top so we want to open up the ties first okay we're just going to do the exact same process so ruffle on the bottom Woodland ruffle or cruffle however you call it on the top so two curls two curls on the other side and ruffle up the center then so you can see I have the Ruffles facing I have the ruffle facing downward and I have the cruffle SL Woodland ruffle facing up then I'll just take my ribbons find the center pinch the middle middle get a little curl in it down it goes then I just pull the whole bundle out and it goes right to the wreath okay all right then we just twist the tie in on itself spread everything out just like we on the bottom okay and then we're going to spread out our ribbon so I'm going to put the larger ribbon the 2 and 1/2 inch going this way and then these two I'll just spread them out and then we'll get to see all three ribbons so I'm going to continue on on the top and then I'll show you what we're going to do next [Music] Okay so we've gotten all the mesh and the ribbons on look how cute and full that is you can see just how full that is now it is a smaller base so it's not going to be as wide but it's still going to be super full I can spread out my ribbons on the bottom a little I'm just kind of spreading them out just so we can see them a little better I don't do this to the end just because it's kind of hard to do because they will get moved as you're putting things in okay this is really pretty this would actually look really cute as a centerpiece as well okay you can see how full this is let me lift you up so you can see look look how pretty that is so that's so full if you want to do it as centerpiece you could put candles in the middle or something really cute that's springy it does come with the sign the sign is really cute uh so you can add the sign on or what I was thinking is the sign is a I believe an 8 by10 and so it is kind of large for this project and so I was thinking we could take one breath kit and we can make it into two projects so I'm going to show it to you with what it looks like with the sign and then I'm going to show you how to make a second project out of the sign and a little bit of other things okay so if I'm going to add the sign on then I'm just going to add it right here in the middle and then this is what you'll end up with looking like okay so that's super cute but I was thinking this Design's kind of big and this is already so full that we could actually take some of the leftover ribbons you can make a second project to kind of go along with this one so what I want to do is take my metal hole punch and I want to punch a hole on each side of the top kind of near the edge like right here and I can take some steel fence wire I can poke that through the sign then I'll just kind of twist these together all right so I think I want about maybe 10 in there we go okay so I'll cut this down here so this is just um steel fence wire 17 gauge okay so I put the wire on one side I like to kind of twist it up tightly so I'll just take a pair of pliers and kind of twist it there we go okay and then I can just trim off what's left okay all right so the reason I like this wire is because I can make little like Curves in it okay so like this like that I can make little cute decorations on it okay so let's see maybe about here so we'll put this in okay all right then I'll twist this side to get it tight now you don't have to make it as tight as I'm making it okay trim that off okay there okay then I can do a little detail on this side like that okay all right so the other thing I can do is make a bow so let's so going to take this pretty ribbon that we have and we're going to make a bow so let's do like a maybe a 10 inch tail okay so we're going to Dove tail it so hold it up cut up towards that wired Edge okay all right so that is a like 10in tail then I'm going to go out to the 6 in I'm going to hold my finger there and pull it down in the bow maker and I'm going to twist it on the side that will be getting a new Loop so here's the loop I just made this is the loop I'm going to make you can see that it's upside down so we bring it across and now it's right side up okay I'm just going to match it to the loops that I just made doing the exact same process I'm going to do this three times okay on each side okay so on that last one you don't need to twist it because you're going to pull it out straight I love these Swiss dots they're so pretty okay all right let's do the brown next so we're going to do the same thing except this time we're going to do two Loops same sizes so 6 in and six all right turn that off and then we'll put the lemons last so cute okay so this one only has one of each Loop so I'm only going to twist that first Loop and not the second one because we just pull it straight out all right then I'm going to take a zip tie I'mma run it underneath all of the ribbon and just get it started I'mma pull it out with the zip tie okay and then I can see the indention of where that bow maker was so if I hold it lightly slide it around I can start to tighten it and make sure it stays in that indention okay I'm going to put a pipe cleaner in there okay so pipe cleaner underneath here okay and then I can tighten it then I can fluff it so to fluff it I'm going to pull the ribbons out like this okay and then I'll pick it up by the zip tie and the pipe cleaners and I'm going to twist these back and forth so that loosens it so I can fluff it very nicely so you want to loosen it so you can fluff it pull out any little pieces that you see that are twisted into the zip tie so that's why you want to loosen it oh this ribbon is so pretty okay see how pretty that is okay so now we can trim off what's left of the zip tie okay and then you can put your bow up here at the top and so what I'll do is tie it around a few times Tien it and then I will make a tie with this okay there now you have a super pretty sign with your bow we can curl up these one and 1 half inch ones I just kind of use my thumbs to go in there okay you see how cute that is let's put some of our florals in here so I'm just going to pull them out from this stem just kind of pull them apart that way I can really spread it out these generally pull apart pretty easily there we go okay I'll just cut this one off all right so I can spread these out move them and bend them so that they look more natural and then I like to take and make a hook if it's hard just use your pliers so this is pretty thick I make a little hook I get some glue in it and I'm going to go to my wreath and I'm going to hook it in that little hole I made with the ties okay just like that okay just kind of spread these out trim it off we don't need a whole bunch make that little hook go to the other side and see I'm just putting it right in that little hole I made with the ties and that's what it's going to glue to okay you could break it down even further than this so I'm just putting it in to several pieces but you could really break it down a whole lot further I want to put couple up here there the big thing is to remember to spread everything out okay there we go okay we have one more so we're going to put this one right up here there we go all right let's look at it oh that's so [Music] pretty you see all the little florals on it okay then we have our bow with our sign see I think that's fun cuz you get two projects out of the one kit now of course you could put your sign on your wreath but I really kind of like them separate okay there we go a't that pretty all right so I hope you enjoyed this make sure sure to watch out for
