Hey guys, in this video I'm going to show you some of the easiest work from home jobs
that you can get right now if you're a beginner or you're someone who doesn't have a lot of
experience.
So one place to check is called HubSpot.
HubSpot is a company that specializes in basically like CRM software and things like that.
So they have a customer support specialist available right now that's fully remote in
the United States.
They also sometimes hire in other countries as well, but right now they're looking for
people in the United States.
What you will do is partner with the customers and effectively resolve issues.
So you're going to actually do this via all the major ways of doing support, which includes
chat, email, and phone.
So you will troubleshoot problems and communicate with customers.
You'll build resilience, composure, and flexibility.
You'll solve different volumes of support tickets.
You'll utilize comprehensive knowledge of HubSpot to diagnose software issues, maintain
ownership of different cases, identify opportunities for existing customers to upgrade their tools,
discover report and monitor bugs, as well as other issues.
And other than that, you will work weekday shifts.
So they say there will be at least six weekend shifts per year in addition to your weekday
shifts.
And then they're looking for people who demonstrate comfort in autonomous learning, troubleshooting,
and taking an investigative approach to fix a problem, possess technical aptitude and
familiarity with software as a service concepts, are interested in building technical knowledge
around APIs, HTML, and CSS, and are acquainted with customer service and are passionate about
the customer experience.
So within the first five days, you will kind of get to know HubSpot as a company.
After 30 days, you'll learn the ins and outs of being part of the support team.
After 90 days, you'll deepen your expertise and learn about the various channels of communication.
And after 180 days and beyond, you're ready to basically fly on your own.
So skills and experience here, they say they want you to be motivated by customer facing
interaction.
You have a chance to talk to people who are very excited about working with HubSpot tools,
a curiosity for technical deep diving and troubleshooting, solid communication and writing
skills, time management and organization, and desire to learn and grow.
So this one doesn't seem to actually require experience.
With this, they also do say that you can earn $40,000 to $60,000 a year.
And for benefits here, they actually usually have a very good list of benefits.
So if you look at the benefits they offer, which is on a separate page, you get a limited
vacation and global week of rest, remote work, five-year sabbatical, healthcare, parental
benefits, leadership development, healthy at HubSpot, which basically includes nutrition
consultations, reimbursement, those types of things, financial wellbeing benefits, tuition
reimbursement, ongoing learning, employee resource groups, and volunteering.
So as far as what it's like to work here, they have a 3.9 out of five star rating.
They're actually a publicly traded company under the H-U-B-S ticker.
As far as their benefit ratings from people who have actually worked here, very good scores
as you might expect, 4.6 out of five stars.
For the interview experience, HubSpot also has a lot of feedback here.
Pretty solid scores, 3.2 out of five difficulty, 57% positive compared to only 26% having a
negative experience.
Next, you have a company called Game Time.
You may have seen me cover them before.
Game Time is a company that does all sorts of event tickets for sports, music, comedy
shows, et cetera.
They have a fan happiness associate one available right now.
This is what they call their basic customer support job.
For this job, you'll be responsible for delivering direct support to Game Time's customers,
ensuring a seamless and enjoyable purchase experience to people who are trying to purchase
some sort of event tickets.
This role prioritizes quick and efficient interactions through voice chat, SMS, and
email.
So pretty much all the major ways of doing different types of customer support.
They want you to have the ability to drive fan loyalty, customer satisfaction, be efficient,
be reliable.
Technical skills here, customer interaction, ability to deliver high quality support, multitasking
is also important here, interpersonal skills.
They want you to be adaptable as a communicator and proactive at problem solving, good critical
thinking skills, minimum qualifications, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
required, experience minimum of two years in a contact center, providing direct support
via phone, email, and chat.
Other requirements basically has to do with your internet speed and things about your
home office, like free of distractions.
As far as internet speed, they do want you to have at least 50 Mbps download, which is
a little bit higher than some companies require, but still not too bad.
Preferred qualifications, prior experience with CRM systems, especially customer, and
familiarity with learning management systems such as Absorb.
So they are also going to tell you kind of what they expect out of your different scores,
which is basically 80% across the board for CSAT, SLA, quality score, all of that.
And then keys to success, just basic stuff like regular participation in meetings.
And then the benefits that come with this job, accrued paid time off, competitive hourly
rate and equity, monthly game time credits for any event, which is $1,200 a year.
So if you like going to events, this can be a good one.
Medical dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability, 401k, HSA, pre-tax
savings programs, wellness benefits, and tenure recognition.
So pay range is about $18 per hour.
As far as what's like to work here, they have a 3.2 out of five star rating.
They also have benefits at a 3.9 out of five star rating, which is also pretty good.
Interview wise, they have a 2.2 out of five difficulty score, which is actually a very
easy score and 24% positive compared to 59% negative.
Could be a little bit better.
I'd say most companies are pretty 50-50 split between negative and maybe a combination of
positive and neutral.
So they're like slightly above 50% negative, but not too crazy.
So next we have a technology services company called Concentrix.
They are actually looking for seasonal customer service reps to work remotely in the United
States right now.
For this one, you're going to work obviously from home.
You'll be doing inbound and outbound calls and other forms of customer support here.
So with this one, what you will do is as a customer service rep at home, you will provide
inbound customer support using a call flow guide, help customers resolve basic technical
issues, track, document, and retrieve information and databases, offer additional products and
or services, and deliver expert customer experiences.
So with qualifications here, not too bad.
One plus years of customer service experience.
Some companies accept just any kind of customer facing experience, open availability, a high
school diploma or GED, a distraction free work environment at home, proficiency in multitasking,
eagerness to learn new technologies, computer navigation and PC knowledge, desktop or laptop.
Computer requirements, bring your own device basically.
They don't loan equipment sadly.
Device must be a desktop or laptop.
They don't want tablets, Chromebooks, or any of that stuff.
Operating system should be Windows 10 plus, RAM eight gigabytes or higher, and processor.
None of this stuff seems too bad really as far as I don't think you have to have a super
powerful computer here.
Internet requirements, minimum speed, pretty low.
A lot of companies require more than that.
High speed internet and a smart phone and reside in the United States are some things
they want here.
Now, paid training and performance based incentives are included.
They do say you can start at up to $25 an hour.
That's actually pretty good for a customer service job.
Lucrative employee referral bonus opportunities, health and wellness programs with trained
partners, mentorship programs, programs and events that support diversity, equity, inclusion,
and celebrations for Concentrix Day, Team Appreciation Day, Customer Service Week, and
more.
This is a full-time position.
As far as what it's like to work at Concentrix, they have a four out of five star rating.
They are a publicly traded company.
They have benefits here that say they have a 3.3 out of five star rating, which is I'd
say pretty average.
Interview wise, they have a 2.5 out of five difficulty score, which is pretty easy actually.
Interview experience, 68% positive and only 15% negative.
Next, we have a company called Vetcove.
Vetcove is a place where basically people buy supplies for veterinary hospitals.
This is a place where they are looking for a technical support associate right now.
It's a remote full-time position in the customer experience department.
You will help provide users an excellent experience through live chat, internal discussion boards
and platform demos.
You may not actually have to do as many phone calls here.
Here you will actually support existing Vetcove users by responding to user inquiries via
ticketing software.
Try to recreate the issue if it's a bug and document the steps to reproduce it to basically
submit a ticket to the engineering team to fix it.
Investigate the source of the and any data issues and either resolve the issue or submit
a data engineering ticket.
Respond to the clinics once the issue has been resolved.
Troubleshoot issues quickly.
Explain scenarios to people who need to know about it.
Handle various daily and weekly admin responsibilities, account management, item issue reports, etc.
Work cross-functionally to provide the engineering partner and corporate teams with information
on feature requests and recommendations.
Work with vendor and industry partners to streamline communication and work between
systems and help to continuously develop and expand processes to streamline everything.
You should have one year of relevant technical facing work experience.
They do say a four-year college degree.
They don't specify in what field.
Communication skills, experience in ticket support, patience and compassion, ability
to adapt quickly, strong desire to learn and help customers, positive attitude, tech or
startup work experience is also a plus but not required.
With this one, they don't seem to tell you exactly what the pay is up front, but as far
as reviews go, 4.9 out of 5 stars.
Benefit-wise, they do have eight ratings.
They don't have a zero.
For whatever reason, this doesn't always work, the average here, but they have a lot of five
and four-star ratings, so they seem to have pretty solid benefits according to reviews.
2.9 out of 5 difficulty score, a little bit higher negative than positive, but they also
have a lot of just neutral experiences with applying here.
Then salary-wise, if you were to do technical support here, typically they could average
somewhere between $41,000 and $61,000 a year.
Next, we have a company called American Specialty Health, and this is a company that's hiring
for a customer service rep, clinical, remote, $15 an hour, and it's remote-based in the
United States.
For this one, it's a high-volume call center to assist members by providing exceptional
customer service nationwide for their specialty network programs.
With this one, they say they have potential of $16 an hour within the first year plus
merit, so you could start at $15 and work your way up to $16 within the first year.
With this job, your responsibilities are to answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate,
timely, and courteous manner, ascertain the nature of the call and record information
in the communication log, look up member information using proprietary ASH systems and provide
information to the caller, you'll forward logs requiring further research, transfer
calls to the appropriate queue, utilize appropriate resources including those online, manage time
to ensure calls are answered within certain timeframes, meet or exceed minimum key job
accountabilities of course, document all calls as appropriate, attend weekly staff and other
meetings.
Qualifications, high school diploma equivalent required, minimum of one year experience performing
customer service duties, inbound call center experience is preferred, but it doesn't seem
to be a requirement.
Basic computer skills, verbal communication skills.
They also want core competencies like demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful
manner, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, ability to display
excellent customer service, excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills, ability
to effectively organize, prioritize, multitask, and manage time, demonstrated accuracy in
productivity, demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations
and procedures, and ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters.
Again, you're working from home based in the US at $15 an hour.
As far as what it's like to work here, they have a three out of five star rating for benefits
here at American Specialty Health.
They have a 3.5 out of five star rating which is pretty normal I would say.
Interview wise, they do have a 2.7 out of five difficulty score, 51% positive, only
22% negative, so that's also a good sign here.
