Hey guys, in this video I'm going to show you a bunch of companies that are hiring around
the world for work from home jobs that actually allow you to set your own hours.
So one place to check would be smile.io.
Smile.io is a company that helps small businesses grow and they actually are a company that
hires around the world and they have some really nice benefits here.
So benefits include things like an attractive wellness package, which includes prescriptions,
dental, massage, and more.
You have an e-commerce credit, which is for over 100,000 stores that they power.
You have stock options.
You have remote work reimbursement, unlimited vacation, and flexibility.
They say right here, fully remote team allowing employees to work anywhere and set their own
hours.
So right there is the proof that you can actually make your own schedule here.
You have professional development credit and enrichment fund as well.
As you can see, they hire in many different countries around the world.
They have people all over the place in almost every major continent.
And right now they do have a few jobs available.
They have a software engineer, head of partnerships, and head of growth marketing.
So if you click on one of these jobs, obviously they'll tell you more about what the job entails
and all of that.
What you need to know.
They don't always tell you exactly how much the job pays up front in terms of like a range,
but obviously very nice perks for working here.
Very good reviews as well.
They have a 4.3 out of 5 star rating.
Benefit wise, they do have a 5 star rating, although they only have one so far.
An interview, they do have a 2.8 out of 5 difficulty score, which is pretty normal.
And then a 48% positive score compared to 39% negative for the interview experience,
which isn't bad either.
So next you have Zapier.
Zapier is a company that helps you automate things.
So they create all sorts of different flows that can automatically trigger for different things.
You can integrate all sorts of different web apps with each other.
So they have a article here that talks about their work from home setup for their employees
and how different employees use it differently.
But basically what they will do is give you a few examples here for like,
if you're an early riser, if you're a night owl,
they give you some examples of like, for instance,
they have a senior editor here who has a seven-year-old son.
They structure their remote work day around getting him ready for school
and being there when he's done.
So she'll wake up early, work a two-hour shift from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.,
get their kid out of bed and to school,
then work again at 8.30 a.m. and the day is over at 2.30 p.m.
So for instance, she gets a very early start,
takes a quick break to take her son to school,
and then finishes the day later on so that she can also be home with her son.
And then you also have another like a senior engineer who basically starts work.
He doesn't start until like 10 a.m.
So then you have a few different options of like,
examples of how they let you structure your own schedule.
And that's from the official Zapier website.
Now, as far as what it's like to actually work here,
as far as all the benefits and perks that they offer you,
if you scroll down here on their careers page,
you get remote work, of course, interesting problems to solve.
You have competitive pay, wellness benefits,
you have personal growth, next play program as well.
They have another benefits page that goes more into like their financial bonuses.
You have things like healthcare.
If you don't have healthcare available in your country,
they have other things available.
Like for instance, they might pay you a little bit extra
to cover your medical expenses in your country
if they don't have an actual healthcare program there.
Work from almost anywhere in the world, flexible time off,
company retreats, 14 weeks of 100% fully paid leave.
For new parents, you have anniversary rewards.
They have a live well budget, which includes a lot of different things,
annual work well budget, once off new hire office setup budget,
wellness program, all sorts of stuff, even including family forming as well.
So if you look at some of the types of jobs that they have available right now,
they have some in engineering, they have marketing, products, sales,
and they do have one technical support specialist hiring in India.
So for instance, if you were to click on one of these jobs,
they'll usually tell you how much you get paid as well.
For instance, this one pays up to $251,000 a year,
or as little as $167,400 a year, and then you can go from there.
Now they will usually tell you
if there is a specific part of the world they want you to be in.
This one is basically in the Americas.
So they give you five different time zones
that you could be located in for this one.
But like I said, they hire all over the world,
and it's a great company in terms of their reviews.
So 3.7 out of 5 stars overall is very good.
Their benefit scores, they do have a 4.5 out of 5 star rating,
which is obviously very good, almost a perfect score.
They have a 3.1 out of 5 difficulty score, which is standard,
and then 50% positive compared to 34% negative for their interview experience.
You might also consider a company called Interaction Design Foundation,
which has all sorts of like UX courses,
and they have these jobs like in development right now.
They have a bunch of PHP and Laravel developer jobs in different areas.
They have a course editor, motions, graphics designer,
video editor, and visual storyteller,
as well as a UI designer and Figma specialist.
Now if you look at what they talk about here and their benefits,
they talk a lot about just kind of different things about their culture mostly.
They do mention you can work from home or co-working space
with self-discipline and conscientiousness.
Now they have reworded some of this a little bit,
but they do usually tell you that you can also set your own hours
and work when and where you want, basically.
So they're 100% remote culture here, as you can see,
and for this particular company,
they're known for usually letting you have very flexible hours here.
So if you were to click on one of their jobs available right now,
as you can see, you have something like what projects you're working on,
what you'll be doing, all of that basically about you,
what they're looking for in terms of qualifications,
and what they offer, of course.
They also offer things like a library of books and courses for some positions,
and they also have, like I said, a lot about their work culture
and those types of things.
As far as what it's like to work here, they have a 3.6 out of 5 star rating,
and then benefit-wise, they have a little bit of feedback.
They have a 3.7 out of 5 star rating for benefits as well,
and then interview-wise, they have 46 people who left reviews,
3.1 out of 5 difficulty,
and the majority of people having a positive experience here.
Next, a company called Toggle is hiring right now.
Toggle is one that specializes in time tracking
and basically productivity services.
So when you scroll here,
you'll notice they've been fully remote since 2014.
They're driven by purpose.
They have a lot of work freedom.
They tell you right here that it doesn't matter when you work
or how long you work, as long as you get things done.
You basically have a small but impactful team,
and then they do hire all over the world.
They tell you right here that they have 43 different countries
and 16 time zones in 37 languages spoken between their team members.
Very good glass door reviews.
They also offer flexible paid time off,
company and team meetups,
paid parental leave,
paid sabbatical,
laptop of your choice,
home office setup budget,
co-working and internet allowance,
annual professional development budget,
annual health and well-being budget,
and regular pay reviews.
So if you look at what else they have here as far as jobs,
they do have five different jobs available in things like marketing,
SEO, engineering, and things like that.
So if you click on one of these jobs,
they'll tell you how much it pays.
They usually tell you in euros,
but obviously you don't have to just only
be able to make your money in euros.
You can just convert that to whatever your native currency is.
You can work from anywhere in the world,
as long as your main location is.
Whatever they say,
obviously this may vary depending on the job,
but some of these they do want you to be
between a certain range of time zones.
But this one is a very broad range,
as you can see,
if you were to look at a map of time zones.
Now, if you scroll down here,
you'll see more specifics about your benefits.
Freedom to choose when and how much you work.
They only measure results.
They have 24 days of paid time off a year,
plus your local holidays.
In-person meetups,
four to six weeks paid sabbatical.
Laptop budget that renews every three years.
You have a budget to set up your home office.
An additional 300 euros every year
after three years of tenure.
You also have a 3,000 euro per year
for coworking space,
membership and or internet service at home.
You have 4,000 per year contribution
for training, workshops, conferences,
2,000 per year contribution
for any equipment or services to improve
and or maintain your physical and mental health.
And support for buying tools you need
for doing your best work,
even eyeglasses if you need a new pair,
for instance.
So Toggle actually has 74 reviews.
They have a 4.4 out of five star rating
and 90% of people recommend working here
to a friend.
Very good scores.
They have a five out of five star rating
so far for benefits,
although it's a fairly small sample size.
3.2 out of five difficulty
is around average,
maybe slightly above.
Interview experience is very good as well.
Remote.com is another place you might consider.
This is a place that gives you
a lot of flexibility to work from home.
And Remote is a company
that basically specializes in like HR,
basically creating a corporate structure
where you are able to hire people
who work abroad
or you're able to hire remotely worldwide.
So obviously because that's what they do
is help companies do that.
They also implement that
for their own work culture.
So they're a true global company.
They do not have an office anywhere in the world.
They offer flexibility to work
where and when you want,
which means you can plan your own schedule
around your life and not around meetings.
So they do say also
kind of in the fine print here
that a lot of these will have a location
or region of the world,
but that doesn't necessarily mean
that the job is only available
in that region.
They have to put a region
because of how a lot of their job boards work.
But they have 131 different jobs
available right now.
Well, I shouldn't say they're all different.
They're all going to have,
they're going to have some
that basically have like duplicates
or multiple jobs of the same title
for different areas of the world.
But they have business ops,
they have business solutions
or benefit solutions,
customer collections,
lots of life cycle operations,
jobs, contracts management.
They usually have quite a few sales jobs as well,
but they have three different pages
full of just jobs available
in many different areas.
So as you can see,
lots of different types of jobs,
direct sales,
as you can see,
lots of like account executives
and things like that.
And they also have sales development,
which is going to be a lot of outbound
sales development reps,
as you can see,
many different ones available around the world
and then a solutions consultant as well.
So if you were to click one of these,
these jobs basically
will just tell you a little bit more
about the job,
of course,
where you need to be,
if that even applies,
how much it pays,
usually they'll tell you in US dollars,
even if it's a foreign job.
And then they'll tell you like
how much of that is base salary.
And then benefits,
work from anywhere,
flexible pay time off,
flexible working hours,
which they are async.
They have 16 weeks paid parental leave,
mental health support,
stock options,
learning budget,
home office budget,
and IT equipment,
plus budget or for local in-person social events
or coworking spaces.
So lots of really nice perks to working here.
As far as what's like to work here overall,
3.8 out of five star rating.
Benefit wise,
they do have a 3.8 out of five star rating as well.
Interview wise,
they have a 2.8 out of five difficulty score
and 49% positive compared to 40% negative
for the interview experience.
