White and Silver Wreath Pouf/Ruffle Method

good evening everybody I hope you're doing well on this Monday and that you are ready to get started on something new so this is what I'm going to be working with today this is the 21 inch snowball mesh so I'm going to be using this but we have a 15 inch white work form so just want to make sure everything's working yes it is okay good all right so I'm gonna pan down and we'll get started all of the ties that way when I come back around us like a seamless end so you know I do not like to measure if you've watched my videos before you know I'm not a measuring person but what I do is I go one two three and that right there is about 10 inches I'll show you so you see they're ten inches so if you need to hey Shannon if you need to yeah you made it Nancy you can measure these out to 10 inches hey Linda hey Donna oh good so you know if you got the tree from if you got you've got it from the Dollar Tree you just have to add your own wool ties which is not difficult and yeah how I tell bottom top to bottom top to bottom I do do that sometimes 1 3 I think I actually I've seen Debbie from Debbie's recent things do that and there's someone else I saw do that I can't remember who it was but yeah it's a really great way to do it especially if you have mesh that you can see through if you can see through your mesh how long have I been making Reece mmm about 15 years although when I first started I started out with a grapevine yeah I'm so glad you got your candy cane hey Debbie I love these colors out these pretty they had all of their Christmas mesh on sale it Carolina pottery so off I went with my new gift card Thank You Nana so y'all have anything exciting going on this week I can't believe tomorrow is the last day it has gone so fast you I wish you had a Carolina pottery - because I'm tell you that place is awesome they have a lot more than our hobby lobby's does hey Kristen yeah you made it do you haven't missed a whole lot I'm just making the poof and I'm just doing 10 inch poops I sure will injure you I'm gonna draw it sometime tomorrow night you made a mailbox wag can i yes you can well tomorrow night we're going to do the 30 inch ruffles and I like to do hi Pam so if you wanted to do a mailbox you would just do the exact same thing okay so if you want to know how to do zig-zag I'll show you how to do that real quick we're actually going to be doing ruffles but if you're wondering how that works I'm gonna show ya so if you're done with it and you still have holes and you can see through it I will penny what you can do is just pull your mesh like this and go down tight there pull your mesh go to the top tie it there pull your mesh go down so you're essentially just going back and forth like this to cover and your holes see this covers pretty well because it has that little snowball effect in it so you don't really have to do that with this but I'm gonna tell you if you have a mesh that's this then it is a great thing to do with it and you have pretty good amount left when you finish doing a resaw so yeah I will how will Tabitha so this is how much I have left after I have done this wreath so after I cut this off I just slide this around the back right here I love old-time pottery they have great stuff - I love my mat - it keeps freezing Oh No you go on shopping in Atlanta at Lenox that's such a nice place I sure will Peggy so I just tie it off and then just kind of twist it around make sure it won't get I will Barbara all right so now we have the basic poof see that see how pretty that white is so now we want to bring in some silver hey carbon how are you I will I will Paula okay so now this is what we're gonna do our ruffles with I sure will I will enter you you see that silver in that pretty I like this hey Tammy if you get glue on it this is what you can do get a get a hairdryer and put your hairdryer on it but don't do hot you got to do kind of like a medium heat because if you do hot your mat will pucker up but that's how you can get it off so so I'm going to cut these at 20 inches I already have some cut but I want to show you you're from Atlanta awesome I sure will and hey I started a group on Facebook called PT and L what does it call PT and L crafts dreamers so if you have questions or if you have a project you want to get some opinions on or something come on over there and join us because I thought it would be a nice thing to have somewhere we could share stuff so I have a whole bunch of these cut I sure will don't worry ladies I'll come back after this and I'll see who has to join and I my thumbs and what I'm doing is making this ruffle see that so then what I'll do is come back to the wreath and I'll open the tie back up and put it down I cut these at 20 inches so what that'll do and I'll type well I'm going to tie it three times we're going to put ribbon at I'll tied a good couple times is that what that come out and see that puts a little just a little bit of the silver in there I sure will sass did that say sassafras Kansas put a cool name yes the heat from the glue gun will make the Matt warm now mine doesn't do that because the heat is up here and not down here that's one of the reasons I got that so it was kind of costly that's wonderful if you find the group on Facebook just say you want to join and we will come and put you in we want it to be a fun open group where we can yeah I love white and silver together uh-huh I just love it how do I stop it from sliding sideways I'm not sure what you mean when you're when you're rolling it up or when you put it in the yeah I know I well you know what I've been thinking about this when I hit 50,000 on my page I will do a dragon for one of the glue guns how's that I sure will Julie so are you talking about its sliding when you're trying to roll it up I think the big thing is just keep your fingers on it kind of tight off all your fingers at the same time and then that kind of keeps it so it's kind of like have you ever had to sew anything I sure will on a sewing machine you have to keep it in that straight line so when you have all your fingers on there it kind of helps to keep it going in the love seeing everyone's projects and it helps to give you ideas yeah it is a big job I'm not sure how we're gonna keep up with it but well well we'll figure it out as we go along we may end up adding some moderators or something ain't it nice and we're going to be putting some instructional videos in there and maybe doing some lives in there that will be fun yes you could do this for Ariel for Reece I am putting it in every tie because I want you to be able to see the white and the silver I start with one thing one thing that I like and then I just build everything around it I sure will Mitch it is on Facebook yes how many of it so I'm adding this to every tie so there's 18 so it took the entire ten inch by ten yard roll so we're almost done with that and then we'll do then we'll do our I got this mesh from let's say the silver came from trendy tree and the white came from Carolina pottery but they have the same thing that Kraft outlet they probably have it at trendy tree - if they're out check the reach off because if I have trouble finding it do I always sell my Reese most the time most of time I never get a chance to put them on my Etsy because somebody will email me and ask me to buy it we are making white and silver it is my name is Laurie we're just making ruffles right now we have two ruffles left and then we are going to do our ribbons and at our skates hi Merry Christmas so I know what I'm gonna do when Wednesday gets here and I don't have a video to do it's gonna be really weird so I would say if you're gonna do an outdoor wreath what you want to do and it depends on the season if you want to do it in the summer make sure that you are using something like the Krylon clear coat glossy sealer because it will help keep the color if you're doing it in the winter you don't really have to do that hi Diane I do pretty much sell all of the reefs that i make well I give something to my family too and friends my birthday was great thank you so this is what we're doing this is why we did the silver you see so if we did the all white and didn't put the silver in it'd be kind of hard to see the white skate so if you do one for outside you definitely want to do a deco mash and the better deco meshes are the ones that either have metallic in it or double foil wide foil you don't want to get ones that say basic if it says basic don't get it unless you're doing poof you can do that but if you have to cut it at all you don't want the basics because they just fray terribly so these are our ribbons we've got all kinds of different white and silver ribbons yep about 15 years hey Jim alright so we're gonna do 12 inch ribbons and I was just gonna show you so this is my little tool I made this is just a six inch piece of cardboard with duct tape on it I just wrapped my ribbon around it like this a centerpiece for baby shower you have a face book if you have a face book come join our group because there was somebody on there today who made the cutest diaper cakes but I bet you we could come up with something either a pop on over there or email me my email address is in the description yay okay then I just fold it over and cut at an angle see we cut three at one time okay then what I like to do is I like to run it in with my other ribbons so I kept a few out I did do enough for every tie haha yeah you know what indeed if my brother's really funny he is on my Instagram and I always post a picture after this and he will get on there and say dibs dibs he's buddy hey Tara how are you so when I put the ribbon in I can just do it one two three I'm gonna leave the white out because I think it just adds a little bit so some other ribbon you'll be able to see really well and some you all that's okay yes that is my favorite thing my law my little ribbon tool yes you could use absolutely excellent idea Terry exactly hold on I'll get it so you can do do a wreath like this and then put the little buck coming out like that that would be so cute for a baby shower and you can get them in they have them so that these come in like pink and blue so you could do that too if you can get these at craft outlet and Trinity tree I think the reach top has them too that is an excellent idea so I just keep put my ribbons in spread them out like this see the white you can see against that silver it sure would be adorable for a baby shower that's an excellent idea I love that see this is why it's so much fun to put a bunch of people together in the room because you can all come up with great ideas yeah if you're saying something and I'm not if if you have trouble with your hands so ah I think the mat is in the sewing Department because a lot of times it's used to cut fabric wha-hoo don't you go get some rest my goodness that's late have a really like those okay how can I do that then I thought I'm gonna get white mesh and I'm gonna get the one with the little snowballs in it but it was too white against it so I thought well I'll add some silver and then I just found ribbons that matched that's it I always just start with one piece yay yay I hope Santa Claus brings you on Debbie who knows you might win and that could be the thing you want 50% off awesome I wonder if you can use your coupon at Hobby Lobby to get the mad hey esta so we got all the ribbons in now we can put our little skates in I love these I was watching have you ever watched Jennifer all wood I was watching her the other night and she was actually taking a real pair of skates and she was putting glitter on them and then I went into I have to do that I know I love my mat well one of you for sure is gonna win okay so this one has a hole in the back this one does not I kind of want to put them like like this next to each other like that almost like the foot is you did I would have to watch her she's awesome I have no idea what a zip snip is I think it's I think it's a like a little tool that's like this and you can put your ribbon in between it I swear I've seen somebody use it but I know I love these so this one has a little hole in it and when I have wait yes I do ha ha I have some clear ones so I'll actually put my pipe cleaner right through this little hole and use that to tight on that's a good question Nana I have no idea have figured it out yet what I generally do just so you know it's I'll take the cost of whatever it cost me and I'll add like an hourly rate or something like that is you know my ultimate goal is not just making and selling grease my ultimate goal is teaching because it's a lot more fun to me so I'll just take this see if I can go down to the frame if not I'll just tie it right into the mesh wonderful she used it to cut oh that's the UM that's that little cutter thing right I will Barbara I saw her using that she said something to me about that oh okay I'm gonna get my hot glue turned on so we're gonna use that too now I know what you're talking about okay I love her she's so sweet I hear this awesome see y'all you should check Hobby Lobby and see if that mats on sale so I just tied it right down to the mesh yes an electric rotary cutter see now that is a tool I don't have I might just have to go get one of those I'm afraid if I cut through this it's it's gonna fall apart so I'm just gonna wait until my hot glue gun heats up and I'm gonna glue it on Thank You Debbie I sure will sue say the bells just wait it's early yet okay it gives it a little bit more silver they don't they're empty they're just really just silver yes bells no Bell so it's okay you don't have to like the bells if you don't if you make one don't put bells on she uses the skill one yeah she does that's right hey your fire and relax there is no worry there okay so let's see what else we have I have this but I don't really think I like that one okay so we don't need that one we have oh yes we have a tab that okay quit worrying girl you're fine you didn't upset me okay so we have some little snowflakes I think that there's Bella hey girl there she is okay so I'm gonna add a few of these in because I think hey ice skates snowflakes absolutely so I'm just gonna time around it's got like a little string for us I'm sorry there you go Bella come on that's a good girl okay she's getting her spot so what I like to do when I'm doing a wreath I want to do with the other snow there it is okay so if I put one here I want to put one diagonal so see like these two are diagonal so this needs to be done looks like maybe right up top would be good thank you I like the snowflakes - I had some bigger ones but I thought they would just be too big so I'm just wrapping that around and then wrapping it around the tie and I will stick a little bit of glue on that - when this gets hot so what y'all thinking so far yeah I like the snowflake cuz it's a white so it just kind of pops out I love these skates I've got cute see if you really like it if you win you could get this one I know Ross hasn't either come in yet he hasn't been no he hasn't come in yet he's in there playing with his buddies so I'll just put a little bit of glue on here and just kind of stick it down same thing at the top Thank You Janie okay Thank You Debra Thank You Maria Thank You Barbra Ross the IT guy I know I miss him in here all right so let's see it's pretty hot I know you know what my dad was talking to me the other day about skating I was born in Pennsylvania but we moved to Georgia when I was five so about the only thing I remember is ice-skating all right so we'll see if Farkle is good yeah okay so I'm gonna put it good amount of glue on here I'm gluing it because I don't think it's sturdy enough for me to put stuff through it so we'll just glue it and that's okay it's winter time it's not gonna it's not gonna come off so let's see where we're gonna put that something I'll move my ribbons around a little bit so I can figure out there we go you struggle at times with the mesh you know it a lot of it just comes with time just keep at it it will get better I promise and sometimes you are your own worst critic so if you're not sure to share a picture because it might be a whole lot better than your thinking it's just that you're being very critical of yourself it's so easy to do I sure will Joyce you can include the wire to the sketch yep you could do that too you sure could look at that it looks like little girls gates thank you alright so now I'm just going to take some of my ribbon that I had to like around the skates and I will just move them so you can still see them but they won't be interfering with the skates so all you can do is you can just move them in the back like that turn it to the other one what do you mean meaning turning it around this way yes keep at it I promise you it will get easier I struggled with it too so it just takes practice alright so what do you think bow or no bow I sure will I'm not sure where we would put about I sure will bolita I'm thinking nobo icicles would be great oh I wish I had thought of it okay both alright we'll do a bow I also have some of these you could put something like this on it those are cute there's so many things you can put on these so if we can put a few of these on just kind of stick a little glue on them and just pop them right down on the tie I have white ones too but pom-poms oh hey you know what I actually might have something for that ornaments yes bonus thank you these are too big I wonder if I could I might not be able to pull it apart let's try it I'll have to work on that but that is an excellent idea I love the idea I'll have to see if I can figure out how to put pom-poms on okay so we'll put a few more ornaments and then if you just want me to go through making a bow just to make a bow I'll do that shoe strings tied together I like that idea too okay I think I will be doing something cute like that after we get done yarn I can definitely do it with yar and I have some yarn around here okay so I also have a little white snowball ornaments okay I'm coming off the skate oh that's a cute idea so we have little white ones we could just put a little white ones kind of coming out you know the thing with Reese is you can just keep going and going and going or you can stop sometimes it's just fun to keep going but you also have to think if you're gonna sell it hey there I think we'll do one more maybe let's see so we did one here and one there so let's do maybe here okay I'm just sticking it right down yeah you can always put the little mini battery lights on any wreath so see if it's there let's do up here you sure can I like the ones that come with a little remote control okay we will be skipping the boat don't worry I think the boat would be a little bit too much Thank You Margaret all right I think we're good I'll have to work on something for the skates alright ladies what do you think it's done I will get some pom-poms on it I'll have to see if I can find my yarn and get that I love the white and silver together yes if it's proof that personal use office back it on there but if I'm selling it you have to be kind of conservative because if it gets too expensive it's hard alright I had such a good time one more day on top of the toe skates like a little pom-pom right here oh that's such a good idea I love that okay I'll see if I can find something and I'll
