October 1st is the day when the Chinese Communist Party seized power, and it is officially known as the National Day.
However, many foreigners and some people in China believe that this is not a day to celebrate.
Rather, they see this day as a national day, a symbol of suffering and oppression.
On October 1st of this year, a number of members of the Chinese Democratic Party, a Tibetan group, and their supporters held a rally to commemorate the National Day in front of the Chinese Embassy in Toronto.
They called for the unification of all ethnic groups and groups to resist the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party.
At the rally, the participants said in a loud voice that China is not a part of the Chinese Communist Party.
The head of the Chinese Democratic Party's Canadian Commission, Professor Yoko, said in response to an interview with the Chinese Embassy in Toronto,
Today is October 1st, a day once called the National Day, but we now understand that this is the National Day.
It is the day when the dictator took office 75 years ago and all the people knelt down.
China is not a real country, it is just a system ruled by a single ruling class.
It is not the people who symbolize the National Day, but the flag of the Party.
In addition, Yoshihide Suga has proven many times that the dictatorship will collapse.
As many Chinese people wake up and pressure from the international community increases, the collapse of the Chinese Communist Party is just a matter of time.
When the Chinese rise up, the Chinese Communist Party will collapse.
We are the first to rise up, and we hope that more Chinese people will rise up.
Mr. Kyulan, who recently joined the Chinese Democratic Party, is standing here today not for formal protest, but from the bottom of his heart.
China is not a part of the Chinese Communist Party.
And the Chinese people also want freedom, democracy, and dignity, just as all the people who love and seek peace all over the world.
Today's meeting is not for silence or compromise, but to bravely convey to this world.
We strongly said that we will not endure such rule any longer.
The Chinese Democratic Party's member, Mr. Kyokunen, said that China is now in a state of chaos, the economy is stagnant, and people cannot see hope.
Many people with abilities have escaped from China, and I also chose this free country, Canada.
Here, he said, we can speak freely for people who cannot speak up in Japan.
Mr. Fuyishu, from Jukai City, Kanton Province, was threatened by the National Security Council for his so-called inappropriate remarks on the Internet,
and was eventually forced to leave China with his child in August this year.
He said, the Chinese Communist Party is far from democracy and freedom, and October 1st is the anniversary of the Communist Party,
and it has nothing to do with ordinary citizens, but rather a symbol of a sad day.
In recent years, the collapse of the Chinese economy and the deterioration of social contradictions have intensified the clash between the people.
The recent number of mass murder cases have reflected the deepening of dissatisfaction and contradictions among the people due to the economic downturn.
I hope that one day true freedom and democracy will come.
At the meeting, Mr. Nawangaze, the chief executive of the Tibetan Student Organization Toronto Branch, also spoke.
She said, the biggest problem that the Tibetans are facing is a colonization school based on colonialism.
Children are forced to leave their families and speak standard Chinese, and gradually forget their language and identity.
Tibetan culture is being eradicated.
In addition, the destruction of Tibet's ecological system by the Chinese Communist Party is also very serious,
and tens of thousands of Tibetans have lost their homes due to the construction of dams.
She also said, my biggest wish is that more people will stand up.
Today's conference is attended by 35 Tibetans,
some of whom are mothers with babies and seniors over the age of 80.
This gave me great hope.
I believe that if we continue to cooperate with our comrades who have the same aspirations without losing hope, we can definitely win.
She said, hope and unity are our greatest strength.
Today's conference was not only a protest against the colonial rule of the Chinese Communist Party,
but also for the Chinese and ethnic minorities who have been deprived of their freedom under pressure.
Liu Gan, a member of the Chinese Communist Party, said,
We are here not only for our freedom and dignity,
but also for all the people who have been deprived of their freedom and rights of life by the dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party.
He quoted Martin Luther King's famous saying,
I have a dream, and I dream of a world without a dictatorship, a future without the dictatorship of the Communist Party.
It is a nation that belongs to the people,
and we do not have to worry about the domination of ideology and speech,
and we will not be deprived of our freedom by chanting.
Liu Gan said,
The dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party takes away the freedom of the people,
and its domination is only for their own interests,
and in the end it is always the general public who suffer,
so we refuse to surrender to the dictatorship.
We will continue to fight until the end.
He emphasized.
Not only did he criticize the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party,
but he also emphasized the importance of unity beyond race and culture at the conference.
The Chinese Communist Party is dominated by not only the Han,
but also the Uyghurs, Tibetans, Mongols, and other ethnic minorities.
He called for unity beyond race and culture,
to end the tyranny, and to fight to regain freedom for the Chinese people.
Liu Gan, a member of the Chinese Communist Party,
also emphasized the importance of unity and said,
The Chinese Communist Party uses the name of ethnic unity
to actually exploit and oppress a small number of people.
They use the confrontation between races to strengthen the government.
We must unite and face this tyranny.
On top of that, Liu Gan called for a sanction on the human rights violations of the Chinese Communist Party,
and said that he would not be silent about the actions of the Chinese Communist Party.
Liu Gan, a member of the Chinese Communist Party,
said that when he was engaged in economic activities,
he was faced with economic pressure by the Chinese Communist Party,
and warned that the Chinese Communist Party would not cease its violations of the freedom of the economy and individuals of the international community.
If the Chinese Communist Party is not eliminated, there will be no peace in the world, he said.
