【Classical music and nature 古典音樂小站】Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata No. 30 in E Major, Op. 109 - III. Andante molto cantabile ed espressivo. This beautiful piece was played by Paul Pitman. It has Creative Commons license (Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal) and is provided through www.musopen.org.
Opus 109 should be considered in the context of Beethoven's late work, especially his last piano sonatas, which are again different in their departures from the standard model of sonata form, their harmonic, formal and other innovations or musical revolutions, as well as their rather more subdued character.
Sometimes it can be hard to decide what to film. In this case: Just the part on the left where the fog creates a magical forest wonderland with a zoom? But then you would miss the beautiful colours of the harvest. Or just the mountain top? But then we would miss the blue sky because we would have zoomed in too far. And sometimes the best lens to capture what you want is already taken by your spouse and on a camera that is already filming, leaving you with the unused ones. When you are left with one of our prime lenses, you either turn to another scene or walk a distance to change what is in your frame... And as we never know what the clouds and shadows will do when we set up a trypod with a camera somewhere, it is always nice to see the finished work. If the footage is played back a little faster, we can enjoy the slow motion even more.
The Swiss landscape was filmed by Christian Schlegel in Kander Valley, Switzerland. The video was edited by Wenjing Ma.
