Dual Sports VS Sand in the Little Desert

We head to Little Desert in Victoria, where we encounter riding in deep sand and up sand dunes for the first time. It's a tough experience and we felt defeated at times, but a very rewarding experience! Bikes on this ride are a mix of dual sports and enduro bikes, me on my new WR250R, Fabian on his CRF250L (with bald D606's haha), Harrison on the KTM 450 XC-F and Michael on his RMX450Z. The sand was definitely completely different to what I expected and no amount of watching 'how to ride sand' videos was going to help. It was all about getting into the thick of it and giving it a shot! Keen to get back out to the sand, especially big sand dunes so I think we'll head up to Big Desert next and then eventually the Simpson (hopefully next year!).
