Trooper's Report:

On March 18th, 2024 at around 9:55 PM, Trooper James Booth was driving north on I-67 when he noticed a yellow KIA Soul
with a temporary tag improperly displayed in the back window. Trooper Booth stopped the vehicle and approached the
passenger side, introducing himself and stating the reason for the stop. He requested the driver's identification, but the driver
was unable to provide it. Trooper Booth asked him to write down his first and last name with his date of birth. The driver wrote
down Kamar Stewart of March 2nd, 2001. Trooper Booth ran a check on the name but got no results. He asked the driver if the
information was correct, and the driver changed the date to March 3rd, 2001.

Suddenly, the vehicle fled with a female passenger identified as Dajuana Mixon. Trooper Booth pursued the vehicle as it went
over 100 miles per hour in the number 1 lane, passing several other cars on the right. The driver took the Kiel exit onto Rixey
Road and headed north. At that point, speeds were still over 100 miles per hour with no traffic. The vehicle then began to slow
down, and the driver, identified as Darius Washington, exited the vehicle and ran away on foot. Trooper Booth chased him and
saw him banging on the door of a nearby residence. Trooper Booth ordered the unknown person inside the home to close the
door and apprehended Mr. Washington at gunpoint.

Trooper Booth searched Mr. Washington and placed him in the backseat of his patrol car. The female passenger was still in the
vehicle and was released on her own recognizance. Trooper Booth ran a fingerprint scan on Mr. Washington, which revealed
that he was wanted by several agencies.

The vehicle was towed by Phillips Brothers and Mr. Washington was transported to Pulaski County Jail to be charged
accordingly.
