thank you Mr Speaker this is a very very short Bill very important bill um and all this does is allow someone who is a child grandchild or sibling of someone who has given a child up for adoption and is now deceased or a child grandchild or a sibling of someone who was given up for adoption and they are deceased to petitions the court and the records that were sealed at the initial process to petition the courts to allow for the unsealing of these documents to be viewed by the petitioning adult uh to review the records of uh of the adoptions process and and who they were who all were involved that that's all it does uh with today's technology uh it's important for people to sometimes know their family history and it allows someone that doesn't have access to that uh to access that after everyone involved in the original process is already deceased that's all the bill does and with that uh before I take any questions on the bill I would like to uh defer to the uh gentleman from Todd for a friendly floor Amendment
