A proposal to change Kentucky laws that address vehicular homicide and establish a driver’s responsibilities after an accident would allow for more serious criminal consequences in fatal hit-and-run accidents, like the one that claimed the life of Louisvillian Adam Troutman earlier this year. Today, Representative Chris Lewis (R-Louisville) was joined by Louisville Metro Councilman Jeff Hudson, Representative Susan Witten, and other local leaders and state legislators to discuss a proposal lawmakers will consider when they convene the 2027 Regular Session in January.
