thank you Mr Speaker House Bill 30 uh is not a new uh Bill to this body as a matter of fact last session we took this bill up passed it unanimously sent it down the hall to our good friends on the other end of the hall and well I don't know what happened I guess they ran out of time this is a pension spiking bill that simply codifies the court language when a few years ago the general assembly began giving um cost of living raises again and pay raises and some of those situations it met the threshold for the 10 10% spiking um this is a course language that simply says if the legislative body or the administrative body is giving these pay raises to all then it does not qualify as pinion spiking codifies the language language the pension system has asked for this language uh to be put in statute uh that's all this bill does so with that Mr Speaker uh if there's no questions I would move for passage of House built 30
