The soil is ready, the seeds are ready, but the weather doesn't help.
It's too windy, a little too windy, when it comes to sowing seeds, but we'll manage somehow.
We'll do whatever we can.
Before we start sowing, I'll show you what I've come up with.
I've planted a dried beetroot. I think it'll grow back easily.
I think I'll cut it off to make it a little heavier.
I've put a stake in here, I'll plant an aronia in a moment.
It's a little close to the beetroot, but I want it to be a little thicker,
so that the weeds don't get in the way.
I've planted a grapefruit.
Over time, the compost will be built up, shaded, so it'll have something to drink from.
And I want to plant medicinal chrysanthemums, to make a nice floral effect.
And besides, it's a herb, it blooms beautifully, and it's good for the grapefruit.
I've sown a smelly pea from the pallets, a little late, but maybe something will come of it.
Yes, I'll have to cut this nut, but for now I'll leave it, let it shade the compost.
It'll shade a little, but it's better than nothing.
I'll leave it, I'll shape it a little, and finally, mirabelle for the jam, delicious.
Over time, in the coming years, I'd like this place to be planted with fruit bushes.
So we're starting to plant, and I'll start with the aronia.
When I plant this bush, I try to arrange it so that it's evenly distributed in the south direction.
Here they are planted further, but they don't sprout yet, you can't see them anywhere.
I don't know if any of them will grow. They were a little too dry when I bought them.
Well, we're waiting.
The preparation of the soil is quite important.
I could lay out the cartons, moisten them and pour the soil from the compost,
or mix it with the soil from the bag, or pour out the soil from the bag itself,
about six or even eight centimeters, and plant annual plants on it,
but I decided to clean the soil.
Oh, there are still some weeds here.
This strip is about two meters wide and four, six, seven, eight meters long.
At the beginning, the soil was dug up and, by the way, the peas and other weeds were dug up.
The soil rested for about three or four weeks, and the rest of the weeds began to bounce back
and also began to sprout from the seeds.
So yesterday I dug up what I had to dig up, a lot of peas.
I also plowed with a hoe.
And now I'll have to plow a little more before sowing.
Well, it's time to prepare the seeds.
I have a lot of them, as you can see.
I'll stick to the title.
Now what I'll do is divide the seeds into three groups.
High, medium-high and low.
But I'm good.
Here I started telling, drawing, and it turned out that I had the camera on.
So I divided the seeds at home into three groups.
Low to 45 centimeters high, from 50 to 90 and above 90.
And above 90 are also sunflower seeds.
I also found a mixture of weeds for dry bouquets.
But unfortunately, the height of these plants is from 30 to 130 centimeters.
And I could use them as a filling.
A combination of medium-high, low and high plants.
But I would need at least five or six of these packages.
And unfortunately, there is only one.
So I'll sow them by the sea.
Of course, I will sow plants from the highest, medium height and lowest at a discount.
What I could do is mark the spaces where I would sow different types of plants.
For example, separately Maciejka, separately Kocanki.
But I don't see any sense in it now, in such weather, because the seeds mix anyway.
So what I'll do is mix the seeds of low plants with each other.
And the same with the rest of the seeds.
Marking the space for a given seed, I could just draw it with a stick.
Or use sand for it.
Pour it into a bottle.
I just tried, I showed it before and recorded it.
I mean, I thought it was recording, but it wasn't.
The sand is unfortunately wet, so there's no point in doing it.
But if the sand is dry, we pour it into a bottle.
And by pouring the sand, we mark the areas to be sown.
I'll start with the highest plants, i.e. sunflowers.
And I'm not going to mix them, I'm just going to sow individual varieties in one place.
I have two packages of the same sunflower here.
So I'm not going to sow them together, I'm just going to divide them into two or three groups.
I've already marked here that I'm going to sow the highest one here.
So that looking from that side, it would look nice in the frame.
I thought I'd sow three higher sunflowers here,
so that the composter would cover me in the frame from that side.
Okay, I've marked it here.
The same in this place.
Oh, there's a lot of stones here.
Before sowing, I could soak the sunflowers, then they would sprout faster.
But the ground is hot and humid here, so they sprout quickly.
It's the most comfortable without gloves.
I put two seeds into the bottom.
More or less every 15-20 cm.
Soaking the sunflower seeds, I would also be sure that what I sow will sprout.
I'm pushing it, because the seeds that float on top are not suitable for sowing.
None of them will be.
Now I have two packages of the same variety.
I'm going to pour everything into one package so that I can see how much I have.
I could sow with straps, but I want to pull them out a little and wrap them.
Then it will look more natural.
Because I marked the areas with a stick, I can see where it was sown.
And now I'm going to grab it gently and push it.
And I still have space to sow.
I also mix these seeds.
But I probably won't sow all of them, because I don't have enough space.
Anyway, I will always be able to sow.
Under the wall, on the other side of the oak.
I'm going this way to cover the holes and not to pick up the seeds.
I push it.
You have to correct the lines.
If the ground was dry, there was sun, hot, I would mark it with sand.
Because the ground would dry up quickly and I wouldn't see where it was marked, where it was sown.
But today, in this weather, it's okay.
Time for medium and low.
I'm pouring sand.
I mix the seeds with the sand to see where I'm sowing.
But also to sow more evenly.
At first I put the sand.
Then I put the seeds.
And now we're going to put medium-high seeds.
These will be these.
Oh, maybe I'll tell you what I sowed.
One package of Immortal.
One package of Gailardia.
And this is just the pollen.
And I could add pollen seeds.
Then I would have a multi-year meadow.
And the next year I would just cut down the weeds.
And what I don't want, I would leave the pollen alone.
Or unripe, which would be sown.
Lily of the valley.
It's a bit late for some plants, but we'll see.
Maybe there will be something of it.
Onyentek, full, white.
Big-headed Haber. It's also lily of the valley.
It would be nice if someone would come here.
Chrysanthemum pollen.
Imperial Haber.
Two packages of this kind of pollen.
Gailardia.
Zatrwian.
Oh, again Chrysanthemum pollen.
And Kacanki.
Again.
And now I'm mixing.
The sand is wet so maybe the seeds will stick to it a little
and they won't develop.
It would be best if I put a cardboard here to protect it from the wind.
I think I'll do that.
So, we'll sow a little here.
In the low ones I'll also make a medium-high patch.
Okay, let's do it like this.
And you can see the edge where I'll sow medium-high plants
and also in this place, in these low plants.
Since I trampled a little, I have to move the soil a little with the rake.
I'll make the centers for the seeds.
By the way, I'm collecting some stones.
Oh Jesus, my back.
Now, I'll divide the seeds in half.
Okay, let's start sowing evenly.
I took a cardboard to cover a little so the seeds won't develop.
But it won't do me any good, really.
It's blowing too much from each side.
Okay, I can already see that I have half of it
so I have to sow a little less often.
But I still have half of it.
I'll make a patch.
Another trick of mine is that I take the peat soil from the bag
and cover the places where the seeds were sown.
The peat absorbs moisture, covers the seeds
so that the wind doesn't blow them away,
so that the birds don't knock them out.
And also thanks to this, thanks to this powder,
the seeds sprout faster.
And now I can trample this place
and I can also see where the seeds were sown.
I try to cover the seeds evenly.
And of course trampling.
Trampling.
Oh, it's so windy.
Let's wait, let's wait a moment.
I could put a cardboard or a board
and trample it anyway.
More space at once.
Similarly, low plants.
This time I put a little more sand into the box
because I have more space than for medium-high plants.
I think the amount of seeds is similar.
So yes, I use Maciejka,
Lefkonia,
Nagietek Lekarski,
Mix Odmian.
Oh, Nagietek is easy to trample.
Dahlia Zmienna,
Gypsówka Wytwórna,
again Nagietek Lekarski,
Miechunka,
Słonecznik Teddy Bear,
Gomfrena
and Słonecznik Polinokola.
When I sow these seeds and cover the peat,
I'll do something else.
As usual, I did a good job.
I am successful.
I remembered that I have the seeds of the April meadow.
I opened the box,
took a bite and added seeds to the mix.
I think there are not enough seeds.
When I added seeds,
it turned out that there was a box inside
where there were seeds of only flowering plants.
So I have some grass seeds here.
Well, it's hard.
But I still have decorative grass seeds
for dry bouquets,
which I will also sow.
I'll add some to the lower ones.
A little bit here,
a little bit here,
a little bit here.
Mix, mix.
The wind has stopped,
so I have to hurry up.
And now I'm going to fix
what's left of the box.
Let's go with the peat spray.
Almost finished,
but that's not all,
except for watering.
Because, of course,
you have to water with a gentle stream,
such a spray,
so as not to rinse the seeds.
Theoretically, it should rain today
and I could water it,
but there is a big risk
that it will rain
and rinse the peat and seeds,
so I will gently moisten the pots with water.
Unfortunately, I don't have a hose here yet,
so I have to deal with it this way.
I hope my work won't go to waste
and at least the sunflower seeds will sprout,
because it may turn out
that the seeds were old.
And if only the sunflowers sprout,
it will mean that it's time
to plant fruit bushes here
and flaxseeds.
As I said,
that's not all.
I also want to sow nasturtium,
high and low.
I think I'll leave the low one
by the vines on the vegetable garden,
and the high one will be nice
to drink at the bottom of my sowing.
So more or less,
about 30-40 cm.
I'll throw two seeds in each.
I didn't sow dry herbs,
because I don't want anything to be covered.
Now I have to make sure
that the soil is slightly moist from the top,
and at least 1 cm under the ground
to feel the moisture,
which is frequent watering.
And I have to water until the seeds
have their first couple of leaves
and then I can stop watering.
But it works well,
because the weather in the coming days
is supposed to be cloudy,
it's supposed to rain a little,
one day or two days
is supposed to be sunny,
a little warmer,
so I'll come and water in those days.
On my second channel,
which is dedicated
only to garden issues,
there will be a vlog from the garden,
which I've been doing lately.
And if you're considering
sowing a flower meadow instead of a lawn,
here you go.
I'm sending you to this video.
In the meantime,
enjoy your work and fruitful work in the garden.
Regards!
