VMINTEQ: Titration & Multisweeep, Buffer: Introduction
Advanced features of VMINTEQ, such as ‘multisweep operation’ and ‘titration manager’ (i.e., the change in pH as the acid or base of known concentration is added in steps to a solution) in VMINTQ in acid-base problems are demonstrated. Further, development of logC-pH diagram in Excel from the VMINTEQ data is looked. The concepts of buffers and buffering range are discussed.
