Edge to Edge? 2" Ribeye! Snow Camping with Bill. Firebox 5-Way Cast Iron Bushcraft Cookware Testing!

I've cooked a lot of steak while camping. The first thing I realized was that...it's not easy. My first attempts left me with raw-in-the-middle results, which is still pretty yummy but not near as good as the edge-to-edge perfection I could achieve with my convection oven at home.
When I learned that the 3" casserole pan worked perfectly as a grill cover I knew I had to test it to to the max with a massive ribeye. My small town grocery store butcher was more than happy to cut a special steak just for me and lucky enough ribeyes just happened to be on sale!

I think the only limitation to my New 5-WAY Cookware is my capabilities as a chef. I realized I should have let the steak rest, which would've given it more color. Tell me down in the comments exactly what I did wrong and what I did right.
