Okay, right now this is our table. We're sitting at a corner. Let's see the menu. Okay, I am going to try the green curry and then seafood tom yum and then this vegetable and then I'm gonna find a papaya salad. Som tam. We have three. I'm gonna choose this one. The environment looks like very Thai. Looks like the Lao fan is maybe he is also from Thailand and open a store like this. What I was shocked actually I saw mango sticky rice just now but today I will not order mango sticky rice. I want to order something else. I think I already mentioned right I want to try their tom yum, green curry, som tam, papaya salad and the vegetable. I think it's kum shin chai. Now every dish is arrived already and I'm very hungry now. Let's just try one by one. This tom yum. Wow, there are so many things inside. We have shrimp. We have some vegetables. I think onions and wow many things. Could do it with rice. So good and what about the green curry? We have a chicken. We have some baby corn and some vegetable as well. Oh my god, speechless. I think this one has coconut and this one also has coconuts and they are cooked in a different way of course. The taste is so amazing. This one also better to eat with rice as well. I'm gonna try green curry first to eat with rice. The chicken is so soft. Mixing together with the green curry soup so savory. Let me try the kum shin chai. Okay, usually this kum shin chai in any Taiwan shop the taste will be strong of garlic but this one is not. There is one some sauce that they put on it which makes the taste more like Thai style. They still put some garlic of course. I still saw some garlic. This is a bit different and yes a little bit sweet. Next papaya salad. I'm gonna try it. Look at the peanut. Oh papaya salad and peanut mixing together. I think if it's not spicy the taste will be not that so good right and I think it suits with my spicy level. A little bit cucumber and they put lemon on it. Wow this one the taste is the feeling is very refreshing. It's really fresh. Oh so so good. I can't stop eating this. Try their food. I feel so magical. We're in Taiwan already and Taiwan has many Thai shops but of course experiencing the food in its original country is better right. Next time I hope I have another chance to go back to Thailand to travel different places and to find a new environment, new food. Can't wait for that moment. We have one big shrimp. Actually it's not that to take it out and put it here. Oh look at the shrimp. Oh my god. Wow they cut the middle part of it. Feeling the meat is very thick. Good experience. We still have some vegetable left. Crunchy crunchy. The last part is a bit spicy. So let me try the khao ri chai. It looks spicy though. You still can feel the very crunchy things and I can taste the shrimp paste. Strong. I think eating with rice is good. Let me try. Better. I want to try the tomato. Very tender. Wow this one tastes very good. With some soup. This lemon fish is the best. So so good. Impression. And I'm gonna try their Thai tea. Thai milk tea. Oh wow. I think the taste is pretty authentic. Like real Thai milk tea and it's very sweet. If you like sweet then this is very good for you. Actually I'm gonna talk a little bit about the story of this shop. So this shop was built by a real Thai people. He firstly came to Taiwan long time ago. At that time it's a she and she was on a trip to Taiwan and she fell in love with Taiwan and after the trip she decided to immigrate to Taiwan and built this shop. At that time actually she only had a restaurant in Thailand. She decided to build a Thai restaurant in here. After time by time she started to gain more customers and at the very beginning the taste of food is very strong and very spicy. And it's actually the authentic Thai food right. And then she realized after that that Taiwanese like more sweet and middle taste of food. And then she started to change some of the flavor of the Thai food but still keep the authenticity of the food itself. By the time she got more customers from locals and right now this restaurant become a family restaurant and this restaurant is continued by the generation to generation. Okay I think we need to eat. When you take the cabbage and you smell it you will smell a very strong shrimp paste. So that's the first impression and then when you eat you get a crunchiness and then you start to taste the spicy because they put some chili here. And the taste is so fresh because it's crunchy and fresh and good. I think that would be perfect to eat with rice. Ah combined with chicken. Perfect. Mushroom. So inside here we have a soup, bean sprout, mushroom and fish. But look at this they put a lot of garlic on it and chili. So refreshing. So good. To me I think among all of this I will choose this Thai lemon fish as the best. I guess this is one of the best Thai lemon fish that I have ever eaten in Taiwan. Suddenly I remember about the Thai tea that I bought before going to Chinatown. Part 7. Do you remember that? And this one I didn't adjust the level of the sweet but at that time when I went to Chinatown I was requesting to adjust the sweetness to be medium. So mixing with that cream is very very good. I think that shop, that cafe shop will be my bucket list for the next Thai trip to revisit if there's a change. This one if we can adjust the sweetness level then this will be way better. Oh that one in that cafe shop. Riri cafe shop. Riri cafe shop. Yeah that one's the best. There must be another Bangkok trip. We'll see again. We'll see. Maybe not Bangkok. Maybe the other city. Chiang Mai or Phuket or I don't know. Let's see. Do you know after coming back to Taiwan from Thailand I feel in order to access the Thai food or to buy Thai food we need to go to a restaurant which the prices can be double than the one that we can get in Bangkok or in anywhere in Thailand. Two times, three times more expensive. So yeah because this is because this is not Bangkok but this is not Thailand. Of course the price is higher but yeah at least it can cure your feeling if you really want to try Thai food or you miss Thai food then you can eat and find any restaurant Thai restaurant in Taiwan. Anyway about this restaurant they can survive for more than 40 years. I think the key is that they would like to listen to customers and they keep the quality. I think every dishes here they keep the quality very good and we also I mean they also make sure that the customer can eat happily and healthily. That's the key. And another thing is that the price is reasonable with this price that you can get very delicious Thai food. So worth it. Okay now about the price. So I ordered a set of two people and we have two rice and two Thai milk tea, one vegetable of cabbage, one the fried chicken and one lemon fish. The total in Taiwan dollar is 600. I think it's not that very expensive in Taiwan standard for Thai food but of course if you compare to the price in Thailand this is more expensive and that's why when you go to Thailand oh it's a paradise.
