Almonds are full of good fats for your body. They have calcium and phosphorus and are great for bone health. They help curve blood sugar spikes after meals and are anti-inflammatory. This recipe is super easy and delicious. It is way cheaper than purchasing almond butter at the store and you know exactly what is in it -- only almonds! Please make sure you arm yourself with good patience when making this as it does take a little time. Thanks for watching!

How to make almond butter -

Almonds
Optional - salt, honey, cinnamon, maple syrup

Heat your oven to 350F (176C).

Spread out the almonds that you are going to use and put in the oven. Roast for about 10 minutes -- or until you start smelling them. Shake the pan midway. Remove the almonds from the oven and cool down but not completely.

Place them in the food processor when they are warm and start processing on high. Stop the machine a couple of times and mix with a spoon. Continue processing until you have a smooth butter. Add the optional additions that you are using and mix in.

Place in a jar with a lid and store in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks. Enjoy!
